Do you live in the state of South Dakota? Did you know that there are offshore poker sites that accept players from your state? It's legal for you to play there and they pay out reasonably fast (especially if you use bitcoin).

Don't forget to submit your Absolute #Poker, Ultimate Bet, and prop account claims separately! You might find some forgotten money.

Is Nitrogen Sport's online poker room worth a damn? Our recent testing shows low stakes action is quite soft. Here's a review:

It's time for the World Series of Poker to fire up in Las Vegas again. Everyone wants to play in the $10,000 main event, but few can afford it. Unfortunately, not many of the offshore US-friendly poker sites run satellites to the WSOP anymore, presumably for legal reasons. Winning Poker Network however is still offering $12,500 WSOP ME packages this year.

There has been quite a bit of turmoil in Australia lately as regards online poker. 888 alread pulled out of the market and the crony capitalism anti-poker bill is certain to make all other publicly traded companies bail as well.

What is the solution short of repealing the new laws? The same offshore sites that service Americans are willing to take on Australians as well. Use bitcoin for deposits and withdrawals and you, as an Australian poker player, should be just fine. Here are our suggestions for what rooms are the most reputable:

Horizon Network (aka Intertops and Juicy Stakes) finally updated the instant play software (where you can play in your web browser) that has been broken for months. Unfortunately, it sucks:

The huge run up in #bitcoin lately (if you haven't looked, it's $1900 a coin!) has had some negative effects over at SWC Poker. As such, they've once again reduced the rake to a more favorable level.
