Nora's is a nice little (i.e., small) place with above-average sandwiches, some of which are quite interesting, generous portions, absolutely terrible cole slaw, a faulty soda dispenser, very dim lighting, and sub-par interior with horrendously loud acoustics. You take a placeholder and then they bring your sandwich to your table. If you want to talk with friends during lunch time traffic, you've got your work cut out for you. The sandwiches are good, largely because they have real taste, but I get the impression that Nora's offerings are heavily over-rated in these reviews. It's a nice place for nice food, but it isn't going to knock your socks off. But that's not why you'd go there in the first place.

Nice neighborhood soup and sandwich shop. We chose this one after visiting the Science Center, because of the gluten free bread options. My son and I shared a reuben. Everything tasted good. If it wasn't raining we probably would have sat outdoors.

I tried to order on the phone and was forgotten on hold. So I went to the shop and ordered 2 sandwiches for my family: both on white, and one with no onions. When I got home, one was on wheat and the other had onions. My requests were not conplex. I may as well have lit $18 on fire in a trash can.

Nora's has a great selection of interesting sandwiches. I love their smoked chicken salad sandwich! It has so much flavor and tastes very fresh. They even have gluten free and vegetarian options. Friendly staff in a charming atmosphere. They stay busy too. Downside is that parking can be difficult; i envy those who live in the neighborhood and can walk here. Its worth the hassle though. I cannot wait to return and try something different.

I am gluten free and absolutely love their gluten free bread. Ordered the smoked turkey and that sandwich had chipotle mayo on it...ut just made it pop! They have great vinegar slaw! You will leave stuffed...and it's close to the zoo! Awesome pricing, too!

You get an excellent sandwich on the bread of your choice (with gluten free options as well) with SMOKED meat, as well as a drink, pickle, and soup or chips for not much money. Definitely stop here instead of subway. They have a nice hidden patio area called the "pirate cove." Again, very good sandwhiches in a nice looking little place, nice wood floors and atmosphere.

Great sandwiches and soups. Lunch special is great (both taste and cost) and let's you have some options. It's pretty small in the inside so it can get a little crowded. Staff is always super friendly. A little on the hipster side though!

A charming little sandwich shop with lots of character. The food was a delight, service was pleasant, and the experience overall was a good one. Parking is abysmal and frustrating depending on the day and/or time you visit. The shop is a bit claustrophobic when it's busy, and it will always be busy because it's an enjoyable experience.
