The new UI at Plus is different, but I'm not sure it is good. To me it feels quite stifling. The are 4 columns of content - menu, feeds, trends and chat and I'm not sure this is the way to go. Does anybody else feel that this new UI suck?
There seems to be too much of soft porn in Google+ compared to Facebook. Here a Myspace founder shares a pic that is quite not safe for work. And I have come across so many such porn links, that I resolved to not open G+ at workplace. Why can't Google enforce a strict policy of tagging those posts that are NSFW (just like there is a safesearch option) and ban the offenders who don't tag it that way. You don't want Google+ to go the way of Myspace - cool but unruly.
#hawkjump +Thomas Hawk I always wanted to try out a hashtag and see if I could kick off a meme-fest. +Trey Ratcliff has given me the opportunity. +Jessi June helped as well!
UPDATE: It's kicked off! I've seen a few variations coming in. Google+ tip: Type #hawkjump into the search box up above, and you'll see the search results show up, and they'll continue to "stream" and show new results unless you click the pause button. Very cool :-)
How Google+ is Changing the Web even though no one wants it to.
. It's About the Data (Data is the currency of Web 3.0.) . Features Don't Matter (More on points of integration with other products) . It's About Owning the ENTIRE Internet . Marketing Takeaway (Google is an awesome inbound marketer)
Hey #Google, are you guys going to fix the Chrome crashes due to deadlocks and memory leaks? Maybe it is the fault of Shockwave and Flash plugins. But, I don't want to live daily with a browser crash. I love the browser and hate to look for alternatives.
I have similar problems. The architecture of the chrome is such that each tab has a separate process. So if one tab hangs, the other should function. This is not what is happening. Like you say, maybe plugins are treated in some special way.
