I'm currently a film student. If we watched this in class -- we'd all be laughing our asses off. Mainly because we would understand the horribly obvious metaphors, but mainly because they thought what they did was labeled as "art". We don't like that term: "art". We just like to make movies. These would be the people shunned from our regular social networks. We get it, you want to say something. But something has to have a valid basis behind it. It's kind of like watching a Ingmar Bergman film, realizing the basis of it 5 minutes in, then having to suffer through another hour and a half of it when you got the point.
