Nice touch Westin Calgary - hand written notes. Of course l left her a Tims card in the room and thanked her for her hard work.
Is there anyone you could leave a thank you note for today?

I am in beautiful Calgary today working with Enbridge Calgary at one of their women@enbridge sponsored events. Two hundred women and I shared a beautiful lunch and a reminder to see the 90%s as we enter into this wonderful, and sometimes busy and stressful Christmas season. We all donated to a local charity and it was a reminder that not everyone is as blessed as we are.

Last week as I was leaving Affinity Credit Union, I saw this sign posted by the back door. I love boards like this. I recommend that you put them up in your work place and make a schedule that each week a staff member writes their favorite quote. If they are as artistic as this wonderful staff member is, bonus!

Back to Regina working with McDougall Auctioneers, I worked with Loren and his staff 15 years ago and it is so nice to be back again. After 25 years of speaking, I often feel like I am attending a family reunion when I come back to a company after 15 years.
Have a great weekend!

One of the things I love the most in this world is kind people. I stopped to get gas in Broadview, Saskatchewan, on my way to Rocanville and met Joan at the Co-op Gas Bar. You probably know by now I am huge Co-op fan. On this blistery cold windy day, Joan made me feel like family. Calling me hon and never once complained about the cold. I meet people who don’t have to work in the cold who complain a lot more than Joan does. I think everyone should come and work with Joan for a day. She could teach us a lot.

I am in Rocanville, Saskatchewan, with Nutrien right at the mine speaking to their leaders and supervisors! I was listening to one of my favorite podcasts “Your Best Leader” by Jamie Newman on the drive here yesterday. He was interviewing a fellow speaker named Randy Busey and she said that employees are like modeling clay and we leaders are chosen to mold people to make them great. Randy said that if you leave clay out it will dry up. She relates that to staff. If you don’t mold people, they will dry up and become stale. Interesting comparison.
Thank you Nutrien for inviting me today!

Back in my home city, Regina, yesterday at the beautiful Casino Regina with eHealth! Always so blessed to work in my own city and be supported by the local community. I am all about shopping local! eHealth welcomes their new CEO, Jim Hornell, and we are very blessed to have a such a wonderful service in our province.

Hi! Sandra here, Darci’s admin assistant. Just wanted to share what we're up to back in the office. It's a busy time as I’m packing up book orders to send for clients for Christmas gifts. They are a great idea for those hard to buy for people on your list or as a special surprise for someone who needs a lift. It's filled with nuggets of positivity, great stories and inspirational quotes. What more could you want? Get yours online at www.darcilang.com/shop.html or you can email me at admin@darcilang.com to arrange payment by cheque or etransfer.

Shopping at Winners on the weekend (as always!) and saw this bag. So true. Let’s make that our theme for this week and not let stupid drama stress us out!
