I booted up my Raspberry Pi 2 today and boredom went through their recommended Python tutorial. I'm actually kind of hooked right now. It does a lot of things that are a pain to do in Java and JavaScript in a more natural fashion. I'm sure there are drawbacks to that but I'm really liking it. Time to skill up.

I could look at these all day. Very cool.
The Aurullia series are Tom Beddard's interpretation of a fractal formula called Mandalay, a specific type of Mandelbox with additional parameters that allow scaling of the folding on individual axes, either in parallel or one after.

I would say this reflects poorly on people in general than just Philadelphians or Americans. Kinda sad but the odds of this making it to it's destination had to have been low.

I had the special which was a chicken sub, chips, and a drink. It was good due to the different condiments it came with that aren't typical for chicken subs: hot peppers and honey mustard. Chips were standard bagged chips by Utz. While the sandwich was unremarkable it was still good. I did see that the man preparing my chicken wasn't wearing gloves. The lady who took my order was kind to me and gave me a refill. The inside is small with limited seating and a shared counter area. It was a warm day and the inside was a little warm but definitely not hot. They used a fan to cool down the inside, not air conditioning as far as I could tell.

Not my most favorite of chef José Andrés' restaurants so far. Had a prix fixe lunch which had shu mai with chicken and mushrooms, chicken stew, and a mango sorbet pop. The shu mai and stew didn't have any remarkable flavors but the textures were good and seemed authentic. The mango pop had a good sweet flavor followed by a medium spicy burn afterwards which I wasn't expecting. If there was a bit less heat on it I think I would have enjoyed that more. I would go back and give it a second chance. The rest of the menu looks interesting. The ambiance is great for working lunches and likely dinners. Reminds me of a brighter Matchbox on the inside.

Grilled tacos were mostly good but the steak was a bit dry. The refried beans and rice that came with it were pretty bland. The chicken saltena was probably the best part of my meal.

Was at the bar for a happy hour. There was plenty of room for different groups of people to hang out. When you go to the bar area and lounge they did a good job of separating it from the rest of the (stuffy) hotel while not making it look out of place. The drink menu had something for everybody (alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages). Several people in our party had food. Cheeseburger sliders, salads, quesadillas, and chips. They really seemed to like them. I would actually consider going there for a normal night out for food and drinks.

Very nice hotel. From the outside it looks like any other building at Tyson's Corner but inside it has a much darker feel. The conference rooms were standard but didn't feel like typical boring rooms. Ample parking is nearby through a paid parking deck.
