Dear Sir / Madam, We were a table of 6 (4 adults and 2 children). We arrived approximately 5.45pm. We were offered drinks and orders very fast and proceeded to order. Soon after initial order we ordered an extra beer for the table. The table of 4 next to us arrived just in front of us. At 6.40pm after the table next to us complained for waiting about hour and walked out, we also politely asked our waitress where our food was and the additional beer ordered nearly an hour an ago. The beer came quite quickly and the waitress advised us that our food was on its way. We also recognised that most of the restaurant was without food also. The two starters and two children's meals arrived approximately 6.55 swiftly followed by two steaks. Both the two steak orders were incorrect, one steak came with prawns instead of ribs and the other came With sauce on when supposed to be dry. 2 more males left having not received their food on an adjacent table. The waitress corrected the problem by requesting some ribs and a new steak with no sauce. Naturally this too, a further 20-30 mins or so! Now this issue was not the worst / real issue. All this time the manager who advised us of her name, "Karma" had pretty much sat all this time on a side stool. Her response and complete lack of understanding for customer service was the most insulting part. Having struggled to get the waitress attention for the check, I decided to approach the manager for it as I didn't want to wait any longer with two children than necessary. As I requested the check from her on her stool, she asked me whether everything was OK, to which I explained I was very unimpressed with the failure of service and eating meals at different time. She suggested she would pass the feedback to the waitress, however I did support the waitress as the issue did not appear to be hers and advised that perhaps the manager should get involved with the restaurant and it failure to provide quality service. As she spoke to our American friends when returning to the table and asking whether everything was good, they also advised that everything was not good! She advised she had taken 20% off the bill, to which I felt insulted at and advised her so but still suggesting I would pay. She asked me what I expected, to which I responded after the experience we had just had I would of thought 50% was more realistic, she answered she didn't have a button for that and returned to her stool near the bar! As a result of the lack of care by the manager and most importantly the frustrations of others arriving expecting a decent service we proceeded to advise two tables of 4 about our long wait and forunately they chose not to take a risk in waiting. This restaurant was potentially only 70% capacity and for some apparent reason not only could they not cope but the manager obviously was not interested. Our two families consist of one Professional Manager in the Servie industry and another Professional Manager in Consultancy. I'm sure your wondering if this is the case why did you eat at TGIs, and whilst I agree with your query I will always question this in the future now. We had however expected a reasonably quick meal to suit all the family after a long day visiting New York. I would be greatful if you could review this complaint with the hopes it may benefit both your business and those using it in the future. If you require any further information, please do not hesitate in contacting me. Best regards Phil

Very bad TGIF location. They probably stay afloat because they changed so much money for the food. I can't imagine a restaurant run like this outside of NYC would survive for that long. STAY AWAY!

I ordered a chicken Caesars salad and they served me raw pink chicken, I didn't want to pay for it, but manager took forever to come so I had to pay as my baby was cranky and I didn't have time to wait. We were looking for a nice meal, but we had a bad experience. I took fotos of the chicken, in case I get poisoned, I'll definitely sue!

Host had bad manners, very slow service even though it was quiet, when food eventually came out they gave me half a chicken breast and a handful of sweet potato fries, brought us the wrong check and marked the check to make sure they got a tip! Never again.

It was empty when we arrived, walked into the foyer and there was no-one there to greet us. Waited for about 5 mins, to be signalled through the glass to go upstairs! Once upstairs we were shown to our table with no welcome, took ages for anyone to take our order of drinks, even though the place was practically empty! Once our food came, the burger looked burnt and dry. Took a bite out of the burger bun and it was stale (end of the day) and the chips were cold. The bill had the "gratuity" highlighted twice to make sure we had remembered to include it (with a tick next to the gratuity that was preferred!) It was greatly over priced anyway for what we received. The decor of the restaurant was very basic and in desperate need of a refurb/deep clean, and is without a doubt the shabbiest most dated restaurant we've been to in NYC.

Bad management. Waitress was really stressed out. Only three waiters on the whole floor. One waiter came back from the lunch yelling everywhere that he didn't get enough time and how he is disappointed, giving an attitute and getting into arguments with other waiters. Manager was just standing there blank faced. Food was horrible, we couldnt finish it. Bill came to 70$,only ordered two burgers two fountain drinks and cheese sticks. They only cook meat in the burger well done. American burger had 4 cheeses mixed into it. Never coming back. Feel bad for waiters who actually care.

Service was good, but food was terrible - under or overcooked, looked horrible. Whilst our server was attentive, another server managed to lose 2 whole tables of customers whilst we there by ignoring them - they just walked out!

Tourist trap. $20 for a crappy hamburger. Dirty. Fast food type atmosphere. Staff was slow and inaccurate. Not what you are accustomed to with this brand. It's a franchise that TGI Fridays should be ashamed of.
