Please allow me a "Daddy Brag Moment" in honor of Father's Day. This is a mock-up production that was done by my daughter, I absolutely love the results. If you watch, please take a moment to thumbs up, and if so inclined, share it.

FANTASTIC! You have a right to brag, Daddy! Let your "little girl" know she has produced a work of art!

Two fiber loops and no students ... we see this why? lag, lag, lag.

Also, not sure why Google says Georgia Southern University is flagged as Kennesaw State University in Statesboro, GA

the Spawn of Raspberry Pi is what I think every time I see these. But the thing is that it's growing (albeit, slowly).

As the university looks at BYOD, cost of ownership in the current technology structure and trends in technology, this report had some very interesting information.

Summary:The United States government has given the public access to its massive analytics database, and the results are fascinating. What share does the Mac really have? Is Windows 8.1 a hit or a miss? Who's winning the browser wars? I've dug deep to get the answers.

Seems Microsoft is positioning itself for the upcoming paradigm shift. I'm of the opinion that we don't really grasp what the implementation of IoT (Internet of Things) will look like or impact our lives yet. This is a far cry from the days when you had to buy a Winsock package to add to Windows 3.1 to make it Internet capable (or spend more for the Windows 3.11 for Workgroups)

Windows 10 will be able to control Internet of Things (IoT) devices using the AllJoyn open-source framework from day one. Mark Kaelin explains.

47% failure rate experienced by Backblaze with the Seagate 3TB drive. This isn't promising ... they had over 5,000 of the drives
Summary:Backblaze, the cloud backup provider, pulled almost 5,000 3TB drives out of service after the annual failure rate reached a startling 47 percent. Which drive? Why? And what can we learn from this debacle?

Your Data is just that, "your data". Nobody is responsible for it more than you are.

If you don't brush your teeth don't expect the dentist to work miracles. If you don't back up your data, don't expect your technician to work miracles.
Jesus Vigo reviews options and best practices associated with backing up data on your Apple devices in observance of World Backup Day 2015.
