Organizing processes is imperative to success. It’s not enough just to have them. You and your team have to be able to access them easily and modify them as needed. https://buff.ly/2nBoy2U

Regularly scheduled, standing status meetings are something I always suggest during project management consulting. But, just having them isn’t enough. You need to run effective status meetings, or else they are a waste of time. https://buff.ly/2pr0Tq2

One of the biggest complaints I hear from clients is that they don’t have time for planning. Keep in mind that these clients have tools and a process in place, but they still avoid using them. Why? They have “too much work to do”. The best way to solve this conundrum is to gain a better understanding of what planning is and then start planning to plan. Make time for intentional planning. https://buff.ly/2oqXW4N

Small businesses traditionally struggle with having all the knowledge in people’s heads. They often don’t know that processes and systems increase company value. Owners or leaders are not able to delegate or truly go on vacation because there is no system to help the team execute solutions for clients. Reinventing the wheel increases risk of failure, results in mistakes and inconsistency, and costs money. Teams operate in silos when there is a lack of process, with no plan to streamline work across teams. https://buff.ly/2oqHpOb

This blog is about our project management philosophy. Project management should not be invasive in the creation process. It should facilitate the team’s end goal and is something/someone that people welcome because of how much more value is delivered by having project management involved. https://buff.ly/2wgkdLc

This book, targeted toward Millenials coming into the workforce for the first time, provides great advice – whether you’re Christian or not! Susan often finds people believe you can’t move up the ladder and maintain your Christian faith at the same time. Here, she argues the complete opposite. If you follow your Christian faith, you are more likely to be able to gain attention as a fair, just, hard-working and respected employee. https://buff.ly/2KQ0Lbg
