Even the doctors think it is a miracle. When the little Amillia was born, no one believed that she would survive. But then the completely unexpected happened – a world record. In 2006, on an autumn day, Amillia was born in a hospital in Miami. The whole city holds its breath, for they had never

Powerful.

The video, believed to have been shot in Syria, shows the woman walks up to the fighters' car, brand them both 'devils' and tell them: 'I swear nothing you have done was in the way of God'.

We love our YouTubers!

Facebook is currently making money off of your videos without your consent. When they're called out on it, they effectively say "We're sorry about your Intellectual Property Issue" and keep the money. FB gains money, and the Freebooter gains exposure. Watch to the end to see how we collectively can stop these multi-billion dollar corporations from illegally making money on individuals who have no power.

We have to be willing to open ourselves up and to believe in something bigger than ourselves in order to go somewhere. We need to be convinced that there are things worth knowing so that we can cultivate the spirit, energy, and drive needed to follow that journey. We have to be willing to listen to, and be inspired by, the teachings of our elders and the learning of a thousand generations of humanity. We have to trust, even though we are the internet generation with much of the knowledge of the world at our fingertips, that we are not so clever that we can snub our collective noses at the great anthology of human experience. That takes intelligence, yes, but also trust, belief and sometimes even blind faith

For the world-weary, cynicism may feel safe. But, in our efforts toward self-protection, what might we be missing? A Millennial reflects on the doubt and distrust he sees in his generation, and suggests a courageous counterpoint: sincere and hopeful optimism.

A fabulous diagnosis, I agree so much with this article that it hurts.. except for the goal.

It is a shame that the only framework for a meaningful life involves the progressive narrative (to go somewhere). We have recently decided that "being" is a crime against "doing". This, to me, is a loss of historic proportion. All the old stories cautioned us against foolish wish dreams of "changing" and pleaded the case for the wisdom of "becoming".

I actually think that this is the heart of the disillusionment of the age. All are told to change the world and when they find out they cannot, when they find the world stubbornly resists existing merely to please them by conforming to their vision for it, they become disenchanted and throw in their lot with cynicism and embrace despair.

In the heart of the author's goal is the seed of the very malady he is trying to cure. He just cannot see it for what it is.

It's wise to be very careful who you allow to get close to you, physically and emotionally, because just one encounter can throw you off track and change your life forever.

Fantastic read!

Heimlich maneuver for dogs.
Do you know what to do if your dog is choking? Knowing a few emergency procedures, such as CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation) and the Heimlich maneuver for dogs, is critical to saving lives because you may not have time to get to a vet and your dog could suffocate. Dogs love to  chew bones, sticks, toys, socks and anything small enough to fit into their mouths. But on occassion, an object may become dangerously lodged in...

Hello!
Introduction
Welcome to my profile page. :)

I love interacting with people. If you're just promoting yourself (blog/website) or your business (looking at you, lawyers & realtors) but never really participate in discussions, I won't circle you. Or if I do and I don't see any participation, then well...ya know.

I don't post publicly very often so you have to make it into a circle before you see the good stuff :)

Bragging rights
1st generation G+er. I really did survive high school [and college] and I really do have 3 kids. Fancy that.
