Davido BRAGS that, he doesn’t deserve to be nominated for any award (MAMAS) this year because he “got three MAMAS in two years” which is enough for Him. http://www.funafrique.com/newsdetail/3484/i-dont-deserve-any-awards-this-year-davido

Malfunctioning of MUSIGA Regional offices!!

I have done a massive research about MUSIGA and I think the president of Musicians union of Ghana Bice Osei Kuffour popularly known as Obour and his team needs to work hard to make regional offices function well.

MUSIGA have ten regional offices Nationwide but only the Accra office is functioning well in my point of view. Since its establishment in 1975 with registration number 8460, it has about 4200 members and has welfare and advocacy Union as well. It has a mission of promoting and preserving Ghanaian culture through education and equipping musicians to be creative and industrious and its membership includes singers, engineers, producers, entertainment journalists, music teachers, musical instruments dealers, repairers, various musical groups, choirs, solo artists, duet, trios, big and small bands, cultural troupes, etc.

My question is, how many of these stakeholders have they been able to bring on board this year? Are the regional offices working? Do we even have MUSIGA office in Brong Ahafo-Sunyani, and what have they done to get people on board to help musicians in the various regions?

Is time we need to put leaders on their toes in order to have a vibrant music industry and what measures have they put in place to help stakeholders?

Well; I think we don't have musicians Union of Accra but musicians union of Ghana.

May GOD help us all!!

Davido Hints Duet With Drake!!

Nigerian music sensation, David ‘Davido’ Adeleke, recently revealed his musical plans, stating that he plans to have music collaboration with American music star, Drake.

The Skelewu crooner, who been on tour of some countries in Africa, made it known that his reasons for delaying in releasing another album is because he wants to stand out in the Nigerian music industry, which some say is filled with mediocres.

'I have plans to do a collabo with Drake. I like his kind of music. It’s going to be the bomb! Something my fans would appreciate. We are already working on that,’ Davido said.

Speaking on his relationship status, the singer said, "I don't want to talk about relationship, so that I can keep being happy. Talking about my relationship status might make me sad at the end of the day and I don't want that. Like the media keep speculating whenever they see me with any girls, I don't really care. I just want to be happy."
Lately, Davido has been spotted with different girls in compromising positions but he keeps insisting there is no string attached to any of them.
