Ready to catch up on your reading? I have just posted the September, October and November On Patrol Reports to the website. Stop by and check out what our officers (including the new Academy graduates) have been up to during the busy fall seasons.

It has taken some time, but we have finally posted an article and photos from NYCOA's 2nd Annual "Hunt of a Lifetime" Golf Tournament that was held during the summer. You can check it out by clicking on the Golf Tournament menu item on the website homepage. Additional photos from that event will be added soon and we will update you when that has been done.

The August 2013 On Patrol report has been posted to our website and is available at the On Patrol page. Check it out to see what our officers have been up to. Central Office has streamlined the process for getting this information to us in the future, so we should be getting caught up in our reporting of the patrol activities. The September report will be posted very soon.

Hop on over to our website to view the July On Patrol Report to catch up on all the action from the summer. Just posted the July report and the August report will be up soon.
I know you would like to see these reports sooner, but, trust me, getting these reports out any sooner is very difficult. I speak from experience as I used to be the one who edited these documents for the Division of Law Enforcement before I retired. It takes time to get these reports in from the field and then they have to be reviewed and edited by a responsible member who also has many other responsibilities within DLE. Then, when they reach me, I have to re-format them so that I can create a document for publishing on the web. I try to get them up on the website within a day or two of receiving them from Albany. So, please bear with us on this and I hope you enjoy reading about our officers activities and adventures.
All the best in the New Year!

The deadline for applying to have a child sponsored by NYCOA to a DEC summer camp is January 20th. Visit our website for more information on the camps and how to apply for sponsorship.

Don't forget that the time for applying to the DEC summer camps is rapidly approaching. Each year, our Association sponsors up to two children to each of the camps. Anyone can apply for these sponsorships.
The DEC has changed their application procedure to an online only method. Our organization is working out the details of how this change will work, and, as soon as the procedure is confirmed, we will post the information on our Summer Camps page and announce it here.
Visit our Summer Camps page for information on the DEC's camps.

Recently, the diverse enforcement efforts of our ECOs in New York City was highlighted in a major TV broadcast. The video of that broadcast has been posted on our website and can be viewed by selecting the menu item on the main page that says "ECOs in NYC". Congratulations to our colleagues in the Big Apple for a fine job. They are getting a little of the recognition that they deserve.
