In our 10 day trip to England this was my favorite place we visited. The history here is astounding. The volunteers are knowledgeable and eager to interact with people and kids. The pub, school, antique vehicles, and carnival were all authentic and so fun. I heard the fish and chips were better than all the rest, but the line was too long. I couldn't recommend visiting more.

We stayed here for 9 nights in August 2016 and could not have been happier with our experience. First of all we booked through Expedia and the price was great! The location was 1 block from Earl's Court tube station (which services District and Piccadilly lines) and Cromwell Rd bus stops. One of the problems we read about were room sizes. Our room with a queen size bed and child's fold away bed was perfect. There was a refrigerator and microwave which enabled us to utilize one of the 3 nearby grocery stores for breakfast food. And surprise, groceries in England are much cheaper than in the US! They do offer an £8 continental breakfast which we never ate. The room had complimentary wifi, which was not offered at a lot of the hotels we researched. The desk staff were friendly and knowledgeable. They were always able to help us with directions. The room was always serviced well and they even creatively arranged my daughter's stuffed animals on her bed. I would recommend this hotel to anyone planning a visit to London.

We have eaten here a few times with our daughter who has multiple food allergies. In the past we always had a safe experience. Today was one of the worst experiences we've had with our daughter's allergies. First of all walking in we saw they now have peanuts in their desserts, which in the past were a safe option. That's a shame because it's really hard to find safe dessert options for kids with nut allergies. Next we asked about items on the kid's menu. The pizza had a sesame seed warning. They were out of mac and cheese. They didn't have the ingredient lists for hotdogs or grilled cheese. The manager told us he thought they might be safe, which shows his complete ignorance when dealing with food allergies. In 2016 that's totally unsatisfactory. We left without eating to go to Red Robin. It's one thing to not have safe food choices. It's another to not even understand how food allergies work and the consequences of exposure. We won't be back.
