I'd still stick with the drones..  War is unfortunate to begin with, and frankly we've come a long way since dropping huge dumb bombs.  Drones will only get better as tech improves.  To not invest / use them and risk our lives seems foolish. In a war, civilians will die, it's unfortunate but it happens. What would suggest instead of drones ? Feet on the ground ?

As far as drones not being accurate, that's a bit debateable as each group will spin it to fit their belief. Here's a CNN article about it from this time last year.
