Will never go to this place again! I went to this Midas location on windmill to take advantage of a oil change coupon and have the complimentary brake inspection since I knew it was getting close to needing replacements. They ran an inspection and I got a quote of over $1k because my rotors were also bad along with a chain of other minor things that would be mandatory to be taken care of, if I wanted to have assurance that I was "safe" on the road. I passed on the service despite the pressure to them telling me I "needed it done now or I could be at risk" Upon leaving my car was making a terrible screeching sound that it had never made before and I immediately took it to a shop I trusted to to all my major repairs. After a second opinion, I did NOT need new rotors and the break pad was tampered with which was why it was making the sound it was. After saving $800 on service I did not need, I would advise anyone to think twice before using this Midas and I myself are taking further action on this location for the unethical ways they are conducting business towards customers.

My wife took our 2006 Toyoto 4Runner in for front Brakes. Manager called back and said it needed front struts and the power steering was leaking and completely blown out. Repair bill was estimated at $900. I told him to put the vehicle back together and I would pick it up. The vehicle was taken to another repair shop where the front brakes were repaired without incident or notification of additional needed repairs. The Toyota 4 Runner does not have McPherson Stuts but shock absorbers. The power steering functions normally and had has never leaked a drop. The vehicle has 60,000 miles and is in excellent condition. This was obviously an attempt to scam an unsuspecting female from out of state.

They don't check their work. Even though my car ultimately was repaired, it took a week and a half of return visits. The up side is they tried to make things better by comping some labor costs. Overall, I wouldn't recommend getting car service here.

PLEASE NOTE THIS IS NOT FOR THIS LOCATION THIS REVIEW IS FOR THE LOCATION IN SUMMERLIN ON CHARLESTON BLVD Went here on a groupon deal , they did the oil change, got me for some extra work the first visit. The second visit, I still had work that wasnt completed so, I let them do that work along with my second oil change. About a month after my second visit I decided to change my battery as a preventive measure myself , I opened my hood and my radiator cap was not on. I was very unhappy to find this seeing that the we were going thru a heatwave at the time. About a week after that I was driving on the freeway and I heard a strange noise , something scrapping on the pavement. I thought a tumbleweed was under my car. I pulled over to find some molding in the front part of the car was loose and hanging, It was late on Sunday, I went to Pep Boys hoping they could help, The salesman came out to my car and without even looking at it he asked me if I had a oil change recently, He had a name for the part that is removed to do the oil change, he said they didn't put the screws back in. We ended up ,buying screws crawling under the car and doing it ourselves. I will NOT go back to Midas for my two remaining oil changes that I still have there waiting for me!!!

Dont be fooled by these groupon coupons for cheap oil changes. They are designed as just a come on. That way you to get you to bring in the car , just so they can find a million of other problems in order to make more money on the repairs.

Friendly people. I wanted new shocks. Monroe is what everyone sells for my vehicle. Sears quoted $50 each and free install. This shop quoted $375. installed. When I mentioned Sears he said he can't even get the shocks for that price.
