I was referred to Dr Zhou by a friend who saw him a few years back. My 13 year old daughter was experiencing very painful nerve sensations that had completely immobilized her right foot. She was on crutches and in a boot for 2 months and inactive and out of sports for a total of 4 months. After 2 months of regular treatments and deep tissue massage, she is now pain free and back in basketball for the last 2 tournaments! We were treated with care and compassion and though challenging at times, patience and consistency won out. Thanks to Dr.Zhou and staff!

I love it here !!! Dr Zhou really cares about your well being. I have come for 4 treatments, at first my husband had to put on my socks due to extreme pain. As of today I am off all pain meds and am back to living a normal life. Thank you Dr Zhou for your caring atmosphere and expert care. I trust your knowledge and recommendations. I would send anyone here who is experiencing pain. I can't say enough good things!!

I absolutely loved it! I have sciatica on my left side and pain under my second toe at the ball of my foot on my right side. The pain has been there for months. Dr. Zhou came highly recommended by a friend. After only 2 treatments my sciatica and foot pain have decreased SIGNIFICANTLY. Dr. Zhou is extremely knowledgeable in this field and I was at ease the entire time. It was a very pleasant experience and I felt amazing after each treatment. I would definitely recommend Dr. Zhou for any health concerns you might be experiencing. Kind regards. :)

This was my husbands first appointment, and it was suppose to be 1 1/2 hours long. This was to include consult with doctor, acupuncuture and 15 min massage. Well, the consult was 15 min. The acupuncture was 35 min. (which 30 min. of that was sitting still by yourself on a table.), the massage was 3 min. with the therapist and the "loosening up" was 7 min. with the doctor. The appointment was a total of 60 minutes tops. He was told they would massage certain problem areas and that was not done long enough. The experience was very disappointing and the cost was very high. In addition we didn't get the full 1 1/2 hours as promised. I would not recommend.

60-minute deep tissue massage thorough Groupon. For $40, it seemed like a great deal. Before the massage began, I was asked about where there was pain and soreness and I mentioned my lower and upper back. I would say about 50% of the massage felt pretty good, except for he pressed so hard on my lower back that I left in more pain that I had come with. He mentioned it should feel better within 12 hours or so, but I woke this morning with bruises on my lower back from the pressure. I spent a good majority of the massage cringing in pain, hoping that the outcome would be worth it. It wasn't.

My daughter, age 14, has suffered from back and hip pain for about 7 months from a soccer injury. We have tried chiro, massages, and physical therapy with some improvement but not a lot. We just finished our 3rd session and she is feeling much improvement. Dr Zhou was very helpful, kind and knows what he is doing! I would highly recommend him!

I went to Dr Zhou because I have Fibromyalgia and was hoping to reduce the pain so I could sleep at night. After a couple of sessions the reduction in pain was remarkable. At one of my sessions I mentioned I had a sore shoulder not thinking it could be helped as it had gotten progressively tender and frozen over the years. After one session the pain was gone and I was able to reach behind me with ease. Thank you Dr Zhou

I've been been going to Dr. Zhou's Acupuncture Pain Management & Wellness Clinic for almost 2 months to receive treatments for a chronic autoimmune disease. I had never been happy with the side effects of treatments that were offered by my other doctors. After just a few acupuncture treatments my pain had improved and in less than 2 months most of my symptoms have drastically and consistently improved with a combination of acupuncture, herbal supplements, and diet changes. Each session Dr. Zhou listens to my subjective report of symptoms and makes adjustments to recommendations as needed. The experience is very different from western medical clinics, so I can understand why some people may be unsure after their first experience. The linens are not the sterile-looking white linens we are used to, but it is obvious that care is taken to set up the rooms for comfort and if something is overlooked you can just speak up. If you don't understand a procedure or the rationale for a recommendation don't be afraid to ask. The flow and timing of each appointment is slightly different, so you just have to be patient and open-minded. Personally I didn't enjoy the massage experiences with some of the students so I just stuck with the acupuncture with Dr. Zhou. Unfortunately the cost of services is somewhat prohibitive for me to go as often as recommended.
