I remember back when I was a student, I had this great Idea, me and a group of friends who only got to game with each other a couple of times each year could run the scales of war adventure path together.
We would all take turns running adventures when we met, no one would have to make everything up from scratch, and we could get a narative progression...
The main reasons it failed was that people started setteling far away more permanently than for studying aka time crunch. And the chosen adventure path required a lot of fixing and finetuning. But perhaps someone else out there can make it work....

I was wondering if anyone knew of a place to generate NPC statts for for 5e NPC's? Either as an app, online or a program.

So I'm looking for a good Audio tool for my gaming table. I have access to an Android tablet and a windows phone and a Windows Laptop. Of those I prefer the laptop.

The question is this, does anyone know of any good programs/apps that can be used to play looping background sounds with a few added sound effects? I allready know about Soft rope and syrinscape (links bellow).  The problem with those is that Soft Rope seems to be discontinued and Syrinscape don't have the option to create tracks with my own music.

Syrinscape: https://www.syrinscape.com
Soft Rope: http://www.softrope.net/

Does anyone know where I can find a highres version of the Ninth world map?

And here is the map in use. I played Tie Fighters and lost a bitter defeat. I blame it on starting the game as newbs around midnight. My only real grievance with the map. It was a bit easy to move your figures by accident. If that was actually the map or us being clumsy I'm not certain of. But still, really enhanced our game.

I know you guys don't get anything out of it. But I had to show someone. So here is my X-wing miniatures game map.

Painted on a 80x80cm board. Black acrylics as the background. Spraypainted the rest with cans I found laying about in the basement. Over all I'm quite pleased.

A bit of topic this one. So I have been enjoying Hand of Fate something fierce the last couple of days. For those who don't know it. It's a rougelike, where the "dungeon" you crawl your way trough is made up of various encounter cards. Some are straight up combats arena style ( a bit like batman Arkham series). Some are choices that has the chance of Huge success, success, failure and huge failure. Others are traps represented by a maze full of random traps. And finally some are sidequests, deliver item B, to the village for a reward.

So my question is there a pen and paper RPG like this out there?
