I was Born in Manhattan in 1949, an moved west in 1957, where I was raised until I moved to the Virgin Islands in 1963.
Spent the next 40 years living & working in Puerto Rico for the great newspaper El Nuevo Dia, as a photojournalist, where in the early 90's I became the first Digital Photo editor for our Spanish language newspaper.
I simultaneously also held a the position of Caribbean photographer/editor for the Associated Press for 30 years.
In the last ten years I am have been semi retired, working the Mexico-Arizona Border story in Tucson for EFE. Currently I hold a Real Estate licence in the State of Arizona and freelance for the AP, EFE, EPA and Getty Images.
