You must try the Tamago Burger. Do it. It's amazing--makes me want to put a fried egg on top of everything. The staff is made up of really great people, too! A little burger gem in Hollywood.

So, I was in the area, and I love trying fusiony-type places, so I had to try this place out. I saw very mixed yelp reviews, so I was a little nervous, but I couldn't resist a place that thought it would be a good idea to put a fried egg on a burger. Well, I dunno what the naysayers were expecting, but I certainly got what I was expecting: one extremely tasty and very unique burger (albeit, it could've been a little bigger, for the price). The "crack sauce" for the fries didn't *quite* live up to its name, but I will still admit, it was quite tasty. I would definitely come back, and I would definitely pay the going rate both for their fries and for their burgers. (Some people on yelp did complain about how the egg in the Tamago burger used to be done over-easy and now they do it medium-well. I can't speak first-hand to how they used to do it, but I *like* my fried egg done medium-well, so I was happy enough about that.) About their drinks: we tried a couple. Although I'm not sure I would pay 8 bucks for them, they were having a happy hour 2-for-1 special on them (looks like 5-8 every day!). At half-off, I would drink their sake-mojito all freaking day. (The blushing geisha was alright, but nothing to shout about. The sake mojito was totally something to shout about.) The service was... well, average, really. It wasn't amazing, but we got there a little after 7, and we made it to our show at the Pantages starting at 8, having gotten everything that we ordered delivered correctly, and with time to eat it all, so, totally good enough.
