Great cocktails and atmosphere and very friendly accommodating staff. They graciously let us spend a couple of hours at a perfectly charming outdoor table last friday at 10pm, as we sipped cocktails and didn't order food (we had already eaten and were just old friends catching up). Very nice of them! Cocktails were very inventive, seasonal and very good and the waiter was cheerful and made good drink recommendations. Looked at the food menu and mouth watering! Definitely want to come back for dinner!

I went there with a large group from work, both drinks and food were great. It has a really nice atmosphere, great and attentive service and I nice cozy feeling. Definitely recommended. The steak in particular was superb

It took me awhile to finally check this place out but have found it to be an excellent if not somewhat off-the-radar brunch spot. They have one of the most delicious burgers I've tried in recent memory and an array of other American comfort food-inspired selections as well. I can go either way on the Colonial American decor (although the retro toilet is pretty cool) and the service can be a bit air-headed, but overall an excellent choice for brunch and lunch especially.

Overall totally ordinary food paired with a 40 minute wait for our dessert. Also waiter spilled food on us at our table. Will never be back. The pork chop was good though.

The place is nice, but the hostesses can be rude. They wouldn't give us the seats we asked for a two different times... they seem to hold the better seats to other people they prefer

Love Monument Lane! I have been several times and have not been disappointed. The décor is rustic and inviting, as is the service. Recently, dining with a girlfriend, we both had the Pork Croquettes, Mussels and Black Sea Bass; we enjoyed every bit of our meal. The cocktail list contains some classics as well as seasonals to keep on top of what is in the markets, they alone are worth walking in. The atmosphere is great for a large party as well, the chef does an excellent job at creating a custom prix fixe menu.

In a neighborhood of decidedly European bistros and cafes, this decidedly American tavern is a gem. Step into colonial New York for an incredible brunch. Have a look at the restroom too.
