Super excited about a new video blog (vlog? so weird)! I know that a lot of people fear going to a therapist because they don't know what to expect, or what Cognitive Behavioral Therapy is. So, I explain it, in layman's terms and with concise examples. Let me know if you have any questions!

Bath time used to be a very difficult experience in our house -mostly due to hair washing. Whenever I tried to gently pour water over my daughter's head - no matter how careful I was to avoid having it spill over her face - the screaming started. And was quickly followed by tears and pleas for us to stop. But, we cracked the code! Here's what took the tears out of our bath time.

I have posted a new video about a topic that most people find pretty daunting to have a discussion about. When confronted with the topic of sexual assault, rape, molestation and incest, people fear saying the wrong thing, bringing up bad memories, making things worse, seeming judgemental, or may even withdraw entirely. So, in the video, I talk about some ways you can be a good listener and support provider if ever you are called upon in regards to this sadly all-too-common issue.
