Last Friday, July 13, Molex honored the 35th #anniversary of its Singapore operation with a special celebration at its facility at 110 International Road, Jurong Town. The celebration included an interdepartmental relay run and a 35th anniversary poster contest, both of which were fun for all employees.

Molex’s Singapore operation is a fully integrated manufacturing facility that molds, stamps, plates and assembles millions of circuits per month, primarily serving the high-end telecommunications and computer markets. It has evolved from a few stamping presses and hand assembly to having the ability today to design, develop, fabricate, qualify, run and maintain all of its own production tooling, including molds, dies and automated assembly equipment.

Congratulations to Molex Singapore on 35 great years!

Molex honored its 35th anniversary as a vital member of the #Lincoln , #Nebraska community with a special celebration today at its 700 Kingbird Road plant. This morning’s ceremony included addresses from Martin P. Slark, Molex Vice-Chairman and CEO; Nebraska Lieutenant Governor Rick Sheehy; and Lincoln Mayor Chris Beutler.

A little history: Molex broke ground in January 1977 on a 30,000-square-foot facility in the Union Pacific Industrial Park in Lincoln, focusing primarily on molding and stamping. Molex’s management team at the time decided to expand the company in Lincoln because the city provided many benefits, including skilled labor that excelled in manufacturing.

The original operation has since grown to include manufacturing, warehousing and office space comprising the company’s Upland and West Bond Circle plants. Molex’s Lincoln Operations use innovative technology and processes to serve the automotive, consumer and telecommunications markets.

Congratulations to Molex Lincoln on 35 great years!
