So far this is my favorite place for pizza in the Washington DC area. I'm a huge fan of the Napoletana style pizza. There is a wide variety of options to choose from. Also, their draft beer selection is superb. Service is top notch, wait times are rare, and food cook times are quick. My favorite thing to do with visiting relatives is to hit a museum, build up a little appetite, then go to Ella's for a pizza and a couple Porters and then walk around another museum. Easily ranks in my top 3 all time favorite places to get pizza.

I hated the thin crust pizza mine was cold, mossy, and tasteless. I wouldn't recommend it but, I was a tourist looking for a good bite and this definitely isn't it!!!! 😖😖😖😕😕😕🤒🤒🤒😳😨

I love going to Ella's. It is a big spot for a friend of mine and I to get together - offers gluten free crusts and vegan cheese, if that's your thing. We often stay long enough for more food. The sangria carafes are good and keep you engaged that way. Good service, good food, simple sangria but they keep it flowing and it hits the spot.

We came from Chicago for the weekend, we looked for a good pizza place and found out about Ellas from the bike texi girl. By far the best pizza place ever!!!! Good food good service and the price was ok too. Highly recommended will come again. The mushroom is a must!!!

Pretty good, especially on nice days when you can sit on the patio with a view of the Portrait Gallery and people-watch. Often a little crowded at the bar, in a way that feels disproportionate with its quality.

Good personal pan pizza with some interesting twists on your favorites. Can be a little crowded around dinner but worth the wait. Convenient metro access as well, a nice place to eat after a day at the national gallery.

Food = 3.5 Location = 4. Service = 3.5. If you are hungry and there it works well. I would not travel to get there.
