Every now and then BuzzFeed takes a break from making click bait listicles and writes a great piece like this one. (Also, their oral history of the movie "Clue" is spectacular.)
How Telltale's newest game captures the heart of the popular book and television series and why it's the perfect tribute.

Ha.
NEW YORK CITY – In what some fashion industry experts are calling a daring move, sensible women's clothing retailer Ann Taylor is reportedly changing its name to Forever 41. “We're a clothing store for women who hit 40 and want everyone to know about it, and then also teachers,” said Natalie ...

"Boys are not defective girls."  I hate the "war on _" title, but I really appreciate that people are starting to acknowledge (and celebrate) that boys and girls develop differently.  I really hope this actually influences education policies.

Cool Bruce.  I definitely would have gotten the N5 if my carrier supported it.

Space Pens vs. Pencils

Via +I fucking love science over on another platform.

Things are very rarely as simple as they seem... it's easy to mock when you don't know the context.

I was purchasing a used car and needed someone to inspect the vehicle before the purchase. Mike, Greg, and Glen were very helpful and accommodating, and incredibly thorough on the inspection. They took to time to explain everything they found and gave me a rough estimate for the repair of each item so I would have all the info I needed when I returned to the dealership to negotiate. I would definitely use Axleboy in the future.

Incredible custard. I know it's blasphemous to say, but this place is better than Ted Drew's.

I worked with the Wood to throw a big Arrested Development party in May 2013, and they were unbelievably accommodating! They let us rearrange furniture, use their projector put up decorations, set up a photo booth, and they even made up some AD themed drinks for us (complete with a custom menu and decorated beer pulls and liquor bottle all done by them). The coolest part was that they didn't charge us a thing. I've generally had good experiences there, but their service blew me away.

My wife and I went on a double date here on a Friday evening. The place was crowded at 6 but we didn't have to wait for a table. Taking advantage of the happy hour deals, we ordered three big flat breads and a few smaller dishes. All that plus drinks and tip and we were able to eat our fill for less than $25/couple. Everything was tasty. We would definitely go back to Panda Olive, but not necessarily for full-priced dinner.

Staff was courteous and helpful. I was a little frustrated when I had to exchange a gift without a receipt and the manager acted like doing so was splitting the atom. He was ultimately able to process an exchange, but I exchanged a $130 item for a $120 one and received no credit. Still everyone was so pleasant and helpful, I'll definitely be going back.
