When someone goes into debt, and falls way behind, collection agencies buy it from the initial company for pennies on the dollar. They then try to collect as much as possible.

Strike Debt is a group that's decided to buy up as much of this debt as possible that stems from medical issues... And they're forgiving it. They're writing it off, making no profit, to help out those who went into debt due to medical bills.

And they're live streaming their telethon for the next three hours or so. Click here and scroll down and check it out. And if you're so inclined, and have a few dollars to help those who have medical debt, donate.

Anyone recommend a site to buy a laptop from? Looking to stay under a thousand, preferably even under $800. I'm not expecting magic, just wanting to get the best value.

Fingers crossed for player models, skins, and, cities! (Or it being enough of a success to necessitate crazy dlc and new tech!)
I got an idea to go along with #ScreenshotSaturday - #FootageFriday! But it's so much work ... it'll probably never take off. ANYHOW - here's my latest work with Energy Hook. Wallrun! Zipline!

I'm beginning to think Valve is genius in more ways than we think.

I predict Valve launches a desktop. And an Android market, particularly targeting the OUYA. And both will eventually be home to a Steam Stream service, where you pay $X a month to stream all of your owned games with no installation.

Also, Valve has the best recruiters ever.

Thomas Jane and friends make a fan film to the role he once played, The Punisher. As he put it:

"I wanted to make a fan film for a character I've always loved and believed in - a love letter to Frank Castle & his fans. It was an incredible experience with everyone on the project throwing in their time just for the fun of it. It's been a blast to be a part of from start to finish -- we hope the friends of Frank enjoy watching it as much as we did making it." -- Thomas Jane

And if you like the Punisher, you'll like this.

New studies suggest that yes, dogs probably empathize with people. It also suggests scientists have never met dogs before, if this wasn't evident.

At the day job (a call center) we have "flags" to communicate across the floor. One of them uses this piece of clipart.

You know how, sometimes at a job that requires your time, and has downtime, you get bored? Yeah, it's one of those. After work, I snapped a few pictures. I think this is going to become a hobby in my imprisoned downtime. I mean, doesn't he look a little too happy?
