Regarding my new book - The Alien Transcripts - Lessoned learned (I should listen to my guests and audience).
For years authors have shared their complaints with me about the difficulties they've had with CreateSpace (which is morphing into KDP). I have always had nothing but praise for CreateSpace ... until this week. What a mess! They pulled this book twice, without giving me a written reason, even after placing it back up for sale today. About the only thing I got out of them when I called was "We show that you are not the publisher" and that was from a phone conversation with someone who has nothing to do with the Validation Department. The Validation Department won't call you to discuss the issue, so how do you really know what the reason is or was. However, I did get this message from them today - "Thank you for your response and sorry for this issue. Your book will enter the File Review process now and will be available within 24 hours." No explanation for why they pulled it in the first place, for a second time in one week.
I have used their service for over 14 years and have never encountered a problem. But this was a big problem. I had just sent out information about my book for publicity the very day they pulled it. Not exactly an issue you want to deal with on a day you are trying to let the world know about your book.
I would like your feedback, your experiences, good or bad, so we can talk about this on the air. Perhaps, if they would have shared their concern, there was a legitimate reason for erring on the side of caution, but I feel they should have let me know what that reason was. Keep in mind, this book was already available two weeks prior. It wasn't until I made minor corrections (punctuation errors) and uploaded the new file that I encountered this problem. I'm glad the situation has been resolved, whatever it was, but I feel they owe me an explanation. Perhaps I am wrong. Won't be the first time, and I'm sure it won't be the last.

Today at 1 p.m. on amfm247.com (also available on iHeart radio https://www.iheart.com/podcast/aspects-of-writing-28350166/ ) Paul Joseph Fronczak joins us, along with his daughter Emma, to talk about his book "The Foundling". Paul chronicles his journey from a baby kidnapped from a Chicago hospital in 1964 to an abandoned boy police found two years later outside a variety store in New Jersey. The story made national headlines when it was determined the child was the missing baby. Eventually, Paul (at the time named Scott) was returned to the Fronczak's and raised as their own. Then, in 2012, out of curiosity, a DNA test was conducted and the analysis proved otherwise. From there, Paul set out on a quest to find his true identity only to discover a haunting past. This is where everything gets turned upside down and the story takes a dark twist. Paul (Jack) is still on a journey to find the real Paul Joseph Fronczak. This story has more twists and turns than an Alfred Hitchcock thriller.
