Recent problems with lethal injection, the nation’s most popular method of execution, have raised questions about how states execute condemned prisoners, which now number more than 3,000.

The Pac-12 conference may have the same lineup as last year, but there's been a mini-quake of movement among other Division 1 conferences in NCAA men's college basketball. One of the biggest changes is the Atlantic Coast Conference has added two former Big East powerhouses, Pittsburgh and Syracuse. But the Big East has gained Butler, Xavier and Creighton.
