We stay here every time we travel up country. Sylvia and Terry are extremely professional, nothing is too much trouble and ,they have coped with everything that we have thrown at them over the years, items left behind for example. I would not stay anywhere else. ,

A real find. Handy for the town and motorway - but out of earshot of both. Set in green fields with three good pubs just a short walk away. Beautiful room with modern oak furniture and a very comfortable bed. Mine had a second floor mezzanine with lounge area, including fridge and sofa. Pristine clean. There are now five rooms (owners recently added a new one). They are part of an immaculately converted school house, adjoining what was once the home of the Hartley family (of jam fame). Lots of character. The owners are friendly and welcoming - and one gets the impression have many repeat guests.
