This is a great little spot in a sort of random area. It has a nice dive bar feel to it, even though it's in Berkley next to medical offices and such. Great burgers. I don't eat beef...but the lamb burgers are amazing. One of my favorite lunch places in the metro-D for sure.

Enjoyed our dinner here. The fries with oregano and lemon were so good! My husband loved his burger, claiming it was better than any other he'd ever eaten. We'll be back to try more soon.

Food and wait staff are excellent, but no sweet potatoes fries. Biggest detraction is the miniscule parking lot: only 1 way in and 1 way out and little to no turnaround space.

Republica is not your average PUB experience. It is true that they only have two taps currently. However they never bring in the same brew. Every time you go in there and they have changed out the draft you will be trying something new. They also have a full menu here and have a commitment to fresh and unique food. IF you are vegan they have a sandwich called the urban farm which is excellent along with appetizers that will fit into your diet. There is not a single thing on the menu that I have tried that disappoints. Go ahead and give this place a try. I can promise if you do that you will be a repeat customer. Also all the staff here are very friendly and a pleasure to deal with. As an added bonus they serve coffee that is roasted locally at Chazzano's. I know that I will always come back to this place for great food and conversation.

Food was great! Service was poor. Wait staff was to busy conversing with each other instead of helping the customers in a timely manner. Good food alone does not cut it in this town.

Went with a friend. We split "The Revolution" burger and fries. We each took a bite, looked up and simultaneously said "This may be the best burger I've ever had." ¡Viva la Revolución!

Republica is great, very creative menu, they have their own grill for gluten free items and offer a bunch of items on that menu. I've now eaten there 5 times and every time i have tired something different, its all great. if i could suggest the village burger it is one of the best burgers I've eaten. If i could give Republica 6/7/8 stars i totally would!
