#MLB Here is the free-agent class of 2013-14, ranked from Nos. 1 to 200. The rankings are based on a number of variables, including each player's history, age and potential, and are as much about predicted performance as market value, providing a general outline as free agency unfolds between now and spring training. #FanPages
A ranking of players, Nos. 1-200, perhaps looking for new homes and bigger paydays.

#MLB  It's hard for the #SeattleMariners  to compete with the likes of the Yankees and Dodgers in terms of salary, but clubs have proven that with the right pieces in place, a low budget can equal success.

Here are some realistic moves the Mariners should make this offseason. #FanPages
As exciting as the World Series has been, I'll be excited when it's over so the offseason can begin—usually the most exciting time of the year for Mariners fans. General Manager Jack Zduriencik has a lot to think about this winter...

#MLB  The #SeattleMariners  are scouting Despaigne in Barcelona. Nobody really seems to know who he is or what he does, other than being a pitcher from Cuba. #FanPages

#MLB  Hisashi Iwakuma is under contract through 2014 at $6.5 million, but the #SeattleMariners  also have a club option to keep him for '15 as well, at $7 million, or let him go for a $1 million buyout.

If he stays healthy and pitches anything near what he did this past season, it'll be a no-brainer to exercise the option for 2015. #FanPages

The mariners are so rude to such a clutch veteran catcher...

#MLB  With only a one-year extension, GM Jack Zduriencik seems to be working on a year-by-year basis. The fear is that a manager’s time with the #SeattleMariners  would be short-lived if Zduriencik were fired and a new general manager would want his own manager.

Zduriencik downplayed it as a factor in causing trepidation for candidates thinking about the job. #FanPages

#MLB  Corey Hart is about to become a free agent after missing all of 2012. Despite being a 1B/DH now, he makes a lot of sense for the #SeattleMariners.

#MLB  The #SeattleMariners  have signed 16-year-old Venezuelan righthander Ulises Perez for $190,000.

Perez, who is a slender 6 feet 2, 170 pounds, has touched 90 mph with his fastball and should throw harder in the future because of his arm speed, projectable body, clean arm action and delivery. #FanPages
