For my first visit to Kool Smiles, it wasn't bad at all. The doctors are very professional and they know what they're doing. I did not like the kiddie stuff everywhere but I understand that they market to children so I wasn't to upset. Other than that, I was told I didn't have any balance and left, I got down the street when I got a call saying that I did have a balance. It wasn't too much of an inconvenience but it was still unprofessional. Overall, I was happy with Kool Smiles and will probably go again should I need their services.

My husband and I took our 1 years baby to her first dental appointment. The service was so fast. Bella went to the back and I was just finished with paperwork when she was done. My only complaint would be that there is a lot of paperwork.

I decided to take my 2yr here since it was new & looked kid friendly.......I walked in & stopped at the reception desk. I waited patiently for one of the THREE workers to assist me.....they NEVER did. After standing nearly 5 mins - I had to ask them "Are there forms that I NEED to fill out?!" We were called to the back 15 mins later- which was a reasonable wait time. They explained that my son would take his x-rays shortly THREE times- so I waited after his exam. I was walked to the reception desk and THEN told the x-rays will be on the next visit (so I waited for nothing). The dentist found 1 cavity & advised me I'd have to come back to have it filled. Fine. Well the clerk asks "morning or afternoon?" and when I picked afternoon- she doesn't bother to ask me which day NOR date works for me. BUT the tip of the iceberg is that my son's 1st visit was 3/25/11 and yet the appointment to have 1 cavity filled is SEPT 28,11!!! Why would I wait 6 months to have a caity filled. I called yesterday for an appointment & they had an opening the next morning at 9am and 5pm....yet after his exam the next day- they can't fill a cavity until 6 months laster!!! My son will NOT be returning there!!

DO NOT TAKE YOUR KIDS HERE!!!!! It's a money making non caring environment. I went to have my daughter's toothache evaluated and the dentist recommended 7 different caps, filling etc. for my daughter. I chose to get a second opinion and it turned out she only needed two caps. To pay for the examination at Kool Smiles, I chose self pay option which means you pay for everything up front which was about $65. Two months later I got a bill for $30 with no explanation as to why or what I was being billed for. When I tried to find out I had to call several different numbers and I am still waiting on someone to explain why or what I am being billed $30 for. The dentist himself btw was horrible at answering any questions and seemed not to care at all.

Not kool at all. We decided to take our son to Kool Smiles for a checkup. When we marked the appointment the lady at the front desk told us it would cost around $160.00 for self-pay. However, after the visit the bill rose to $270.00. The front desk lady explained that there are some extra charges that go beyond the price they gave us. Frankly, not a kool practice, but a disrespectful rip-off. Besides this, how can anyone schedule an appointment for Monday, April 19, 2011 when the 19th is a Tuesday? As a result of this wrong calendar, I received three or four recorded messages of the type "press one to confirm". However, I had already called them to reconfirm the appointment. Even so, I kept receiving the calls. Frankly, behind this smiling facade is business. I would be glad if someone from Kool Smiles would read this. The service was zero stars for us. Very disappointing. I cannot recommend them.
