*** Update: After posting this review I received a call from the Corwin Ford service manager. He had me stop by to talk about the issue further. Corwin decided to take the car, giving me a loaner (Woo!) for a week while they could look into the issue further. After a few days, they gave me a call saying they had found this issue and replaced the part. The car drives way better, even if the DCT in it has some flaws. I appreciate the service manager for helping me figure this out. I wish it didn't take me complaining elsewhere to make it happen. I am changing my review from a 1 to 3 stars. My only advice to anyone looking at buying a car here is to stop by other Ford dealers in town to better understand the quality of service each one offers. *** At the time of my car purchase it was Dan Wiebold Ford, but it quickly transitioned to Corwin Ford. I would like to blame it on the new owners, but most the people there now were there long before the change. I've had repeated problems with the car I purchased new from them and that's not their fault, it's Ford's. The problem is, their service department lacks any sort of immediacy or responsibility to cars under warranty. When my car lost power and stalled out a mile away from the dealership (we were on the freeway). The dealership tow truck driver told me there was nothing he could do because they closed in 45 minutes. So frustrating, especially since I was promised "fantastic" service by the sales people when buying the car. I ended up calling roadside assistance and getting it towed and dropped off at the dealership in less than 45 minutes. But, hey, it might have just been an off day. The next problem I had involved some minor, but annoying transmission shifting issues. Since it was under warranty, I called up the Corwin service department. No one was available. I called back in an hour and got a hold of a guy who told me to bring the car in, so I did. I got there and the guy I spoke to on the phone was too busy to even acknowledge my existence. Frustrated, I moved to another service department person. She was nice, got my information and sent me on my way... except the loaner car I was promised whenever I was needing service was no longer an option. I had to have a family member come out and pick me up. But, hey, it might have just been an off day. A few months later, I called to drop off the car for the same stuttering transmission issues. I called the previously helpful woman in the service department, told her my issues and that I needed a loaner car. Her response was she can look at the car again, but "We're out of loaner cars." Frustrated with that response, I called my father who has purchased a few cards through Dan Wiebold and asked him if he ever had trouble getting a loaner car. He didn't. So 20 minutes later, I had him call on my car, he spoke to someone in the service department and surprise... he got a loaner car. Not sure why they were against giving me a loaner car and why they lied and told me they were out, but at least the car got looked at. But, hey, it might have just been an off day? No. Corwin Ford seems to have a lot of off days. I'd recommend to anyone thinking about buying a car from Corwin to consider their options. I've had pretty bad luck with them so far and I'm still having issues with my car. It makes me rethink ever buying a Ford. I'm looking at other options in town, Kendall Ford seems to be the place to get some real help. We'll see...
