You might question paying $54 for brunch, but you'd be making a big mistake. The bottomless mimosas are the bomb made fresh right at your table which I've never experienced before and it made a big impression on us. The service was phenomenal as my drink glass, water glass, nor my coffee were ever empty the entire 2 hours we were there. The brunch selection of pastries and other carbs complimented the savory selections if rib eye, sushi, and seafood well. Even the chicken and waffles was better than I'd had before. Well worth the money. We'll definitively be back.

I went here for my birthday dinner a while ago. The food was good and service was great, but as I was receiving my birthday dessert, the woman at the next table began choking. I am a nurse, so I rushed over and began giving her the Heimlich and back blows to dislodge the food. The security guard was the only person to help me through the entire situation until EMS arrived. I ended up completely soiling and ruining my (white) dress trying to help this woman... and then they charged me for everything.. including my supposedly complementary birthday dessert that I didn't even get a chance to eat. Nobody from management even came to thank me! I was so flustered by the situation with the woman that I did not want to cause anymore of a scene but I felt the way the management handled the situation was extremely inadequate. The food is good but beware of the disingenuous managers if problems arise.

The most elegant restaurant in downtown Austin! The atmosphere is intimate and relaxing, contemporary decorated and menu (especially the wine list) simply rocks! Good for both casual dinner and for special occasions!

TRIO is where we go out for those "fancy" occasions. Whether you're at the bar or a cozy table for two, the service at TRIO is top notch. I always get the feeling my waiter is a true professional. The food is also excellent with the highest quality ingredients. Many of the local farms list TRIO as a buyer of their seasonal goods. I also like the ambience of TRIO with large windows looking out over a green lawn, the Ann Butler Trail and Lady Bird Lake. However, the space is small enough and laid out to still feel private. The location is excellent - right on the trail and walking distance to just about everything downtown.

Free S'Mores on Friday and Saturday nights. Great for bites and drinks during happy hour. They also have comfy hammocks in the back which you are welcomed to snooze in for whatever reason. Trio is superb though I have never had a full meal here, which I obviously need to remedy soon. Update: Meal had, food yum, staff flawless, much wine, good!

Had a fantastic meal with my co-workers at Trio last night. The food was wonderful. The appetizers were great compliments to the meal and they weren't afraid to put a bold amount of spices on these. The Cauliflower and Broccoli-Spears were prepared in a unique cream sauce that was not too heavy. The Mac-n-Cheese was more of an Alfredo but out of this world good. On the main course - I had the Rack-of-Lamb which was prepared with mint and a stone-ground mustard. WOW. On this dish, they didn't need to do too much - (how many times have you had red-meat that was over-spiced?) The prices are what you would expect for five-star dining. The only drawbacks were (1) I thought they could have done more with a Caesar Salad than they did and they were enormous in size. You don't want to lose your appetite and get full before you even hit the main course. (2) The menu wasn't particularly diverse. There were no vegetarian dishes for instance....(3) The desserts were okay, but where is the New york Cheesecake? The chocolate cake and caramel ice-cream was good, but the cake was just way too bittersweet, offering more of a cupcake without the frosting appearance. So what will you get when you walk in the door? Excellent Service, Excellent Meals and an Excellent Time! I actually score this an All-Time High for me at a 96. You will love it!
