The VFW Department of Georgia proudly presented a $17,050 donation to the Georgia World War I Centennial Commission during the Commission's March 22 meeting. The donation included contributions from 20 VFW Posts throughout the state.

After the opening of the Atlanta call center, the VA call rollover rate went from more than 30% to less than 1 percent, with over 99 percent of all calls being answered by the VCL.

Today, the VFW presented a $100,000 check to the WWI Centennial Commission solidifying its role as the presenting sponsor of the April 6th, “In Sacrifice for Liberty and Peace: Centennial Commemoration of the U.S. Entry into World War I” ceremony.
