As I get older, I want clothes and shoes that are versatile for all of the many facets of my life. Whether I'm running errands, going on a nature walk, or even just grabbing lunch with friends I want my shoes to be perfect for all day! Sure, tt's rare for fashion and comfort go together but with my new lightweight Timberland boots from Zappos the stars aligned! These cream colored boots are versatile enough to be a year-round staple in my wardrobe and with Zappos' fast free shipping, they showed up at my door in the blink of an eye.

Do you love versatile wardrobe pieces as much as I do?

Thanks so much for stopping by.

There are some outfit combinations that are just so classic they never go out of style. Black, white & camel is definitely one them. I paired a little leather mini skirt with a striped blazer and a black lace up top for an outfit that is part business part pleasure. I added in a touch of red lipstick to match my shoes and because it always puts a little extra pep in my step!

What are your go-to classic outfit combinations?

I hope you're having a great Monday!

Happy Thursday!
Just a quick post to share this feminine combination that I've been loving so much lately. Bell sleeves are such a huge trend right now, so I just couldn't help myself when I saw this top on the ASOS site. The mesh panels and tiered sleeves were too pretty to pass up. I paired it with a pink velvet, pleated, skirt and matching pumps for the ultimate girly-glam outfit.

Last weekend I did an Instagram takeover with one of my go-to shopping spots in Pasadena - One Colorado, and along the way I discovered fun new places and visited some of my old tried-and-true staples. At the top of my list? Il Fornaio! This Italian Eatery is the perfect spot for a romantic dinner, brunch with girlfriends or even just an afternoon coffee pick-me-up. Their coffee is always perfectly brewed and their dinners transport you to Italy, so there's no question why I love it so much! My next spot was Sugarfina. Something about this little candy boutique always manages to lure me in and has me leaving with a handful of sweets. Their shop is perfectly decorated with pretty pastels and they are outfitted with every candy under the sun so you're guaranteed to leave with something you'll love. Sugarfina is great for gifts, pretty Instagram pictures (sorry, I'm such a blogger!) or to pick up something sweet to snack on. Of course, since this was a weekend takeover it included date night! Boyfriend and I always love to have dinner at Sushi Roku. Whether we watch the chefs prepare the rolls while sitting at the sushi bar, or have a cozy table for two, it's always one of our favorite places to go on Friday and Saturday nights. Lastly, you guys know that I always love fresh flowers and pretty flower shops, so when I discovered Gilly Flower shop it was love at first sight! They have a gorgeous assortment of bouquets and individual stems so you can create your own arrangement, or pick up one of their expertly crafted ones. TWIGZZ at One Colorado is also a new favorite of mine and is the perfect place to stop for fresh succulents.

I hope you enjoyed hearing about some of my favorite places in Pasadena! This wonderful city is full of history and charm so I could go on forever, but these are just a few of my faves. I'd love to hear some of your favorite spots in Pasadena!

When it comes to my fragrance, I want something that is bold and sexy and Jo Malone's scents have always been just that. I've tried so many over the years, but lately, I just can't get enough of the sweet-yet-musky tones in "Pomegranate Noir". It's the perfume that I reach for if I want to feel feminine and flirty on date night, or if I need a little extra spring in my step for a business meeting. While I am quite the girly girl, I like for my fragrance to be strong and powerful. Pomegranate Noir is all of that and more, that's why it is my favorite scent for the season.

What do you look for in a fragrance?

Spring is hands down my favorite time of year. Everything is in bloom and you can smell the sweet scent of fresh flowers in the air. Since I love afternoon strolls during this time of year so much, it's important that I have chic and comfortable footwear for all of my adventures. At Zappos, I was able to find a great selection of Keds sneakers and they arrived at my door in the blink of an eye! Their fast free shipping made it so that I could get my sneakers on and out the door that much faster.

What's your off duty spring style? See more styles from Keds on Instagram with the hashtag #KedsStyle!

Oh Paris, is there any city as dreamy as you are? From our afternoon macaron dates, to our evening strolls along the Seine, Paris was the perfect end of winter getaway. Danny Fung and I went to Paris for Fashion Week, but to be honest, our trip was equal parts work and play. It was my third time in this charming city but I still found so many new places and neighborhoods to explore. The Marais was among one of my many favorites and I loved finally having the chance to walk along the gorgeous Pont Alexandre bridge. Excited to share more Paris posts with you soon. In the mean time you can watch my "Get Ready With Me" video for one of the Paris fashion week shows here: here.

Thanks so much for visiting me.
