Did the Romans Know More Than We Do, asks Danbury CT dentist Jay M. Marks, DMD

Maybe the tagline here should be, "When in Rome, Do as the Romans", states Danbury #dentist Jay M. Marks, DMD.  We all know the advances the Romans had made back in their day, over 1500 years ago.  Some of their accomplishments were way before their time.  Some of the groundbreaking innovations were-  Aqueducts, development of concrete and cement (many of their structures- Colosseum etc- are still standing today, Newspapers (made out of stone), Bound books, Highways and roads, the Roman calendar which is the basis of our calendar, and many  procedures known to modern medicine.  There is another practice that was common in their society that would be of benefit even today, if it was more widely followed states Dr. Marks.

We are aware of this practice due to a terrible natural tragedy.  In the year 79 AD, the volcano Mount Vesuvius erupted, and all those who remained were killed and frozen in time by superheated gas.  Ash buried the city, and when it hardened, it preserved the bodies so that they could be examined centuries later.

It turns out that the inhabitants had no need for #fillings, or #crowns, or #dentures, or #bridges, or #DENTISTS!  Examinations revealed that the Romans had perfect sets of #teeth.  It was further discovered that what they ate and drank was responsible for their good luck.  Microscopic evaluation showed a diet rich in vegetables and fruits- similar to the Mediterranean Diet of today.  Further, their water contained #fluoride, which we know to prevent decay.

As a dentist, Dr. Marks is happy he did not live back in the day of the Romans.  If you would like to emulate the Roman's teeth conditions by fixing your Non Roman teeth, please CONTACT US.

 PLEASE  + 1

US President - Aliens - Dentistry, What Could They Have In Common Asks Danbury CT Dentist Jay M. Marks, DMD

As you can imagine, the life of the President is highly structured, states Jay M. Marks, DMD.  Being the head of the most powerful country in the world, he has very little personal time.  All of his time influences events in the world.  Every movement has been choreographed, and planned, and checked, and double checked, and OK'ed by multiple people, including the President and Secret Service.  So what could possibly be the relationship between Aliens, and #teeth, and the President of the United States, asks Dr. Marks.

History reveals that on the evening of February 20, 1954, President Eisenhower was scheduled to be at a certain venue in Palm Springs, CA.  However, without any explanation, he never appeared.  Rumors spread quickly that he had died, or was seriously ill.  He was quietly taken to Edwards Air Force base.  In response to the rumors, a hastily called news conference the next day explained that the President had broken a #crown or #bridge, and was seen by a local #dentist who came to the base.

Doubters claim that it was odd that a local dentist had to come onto the base that had its own dentists.  They claim that the President was taken to meet with Aliens in order to sign a peace treaty.  The rumor continues due to the fact that in 1979, the wife of the local dentist said that he never mentioned anything about a dental appointment.  Further, the Eisenhower Library records show all the President's dental treatments, but none that month.  Finally, the library has records of  "thank you" notes sent to those who aided the President during that visit- to florists, golfers, the local minister, people who greeted him, but NO MENTION of any dentist or dental visit.

We don't treat Aliens, but would be happy to assist you in any of your earthly dental needs- please CONTACT US.
