The unemployment rate is at it's lowest in years for health and medical administrative services at just 2.9 percent. That's great news! With dedication and extra education, you can land a secure job in health care.

Though trauma may be a combat medic’s niche, even the most accomplished military medic needs additional training in Medical Assisting.

One big reason for the continued growth in the medical field is due to the baby boomers. Baby boomers began reaching retirement age in 2006, and by 2029 our 65 and over population will exceed 71 million! Now's the time to consider earning a diploma as a medical assistant.
Very happy with the school, met all of my expectations and more. The faculty is easy to get hold of, advisor is very knowledgeable and helpful. Thank you for great experience.

For many people, they see the role of medical assistant as the ideal jumping-off point for another role in allied health: physician assistant.

Having a good bedside manner makes a difference. Patients rely on Medical Assistants to help them feel at ease and understand the physician's instructions.

Medical Assistants provide physicians with valuable assistance when it comes to treating patients. Some of the duties include taking vital signs, prepping patients for X-rays, assisting during exams, and explaining treatments and procedures to patients.

Hello, everyone! My name is Linette Perez. I am currently taking the Medical assistant(diploma) Program online classes in Allied Health Institute. This is a great school. What i like about this school is that they care about us reaching our goals to be successful, and it's flexible. Even though i am far away from the school, they always make sure that they are there to help us, they always gives us their contact number or email for whenever we have a question or concern. All of the Professors are great and really nice! especially my student adviser Lorraine Gallerani, She is a great person, she would always call me once or twice a month just to see how i was doing in the class, if i had a question, she always gives me good advise and tells not to give up and to reach my goal. So If your looking for a great online learning experience Allied Health Institute is the one for you!!

From the moment I picked up the phone to inquire about Allied Health Institutes programs to my final day of class, the hospitality, professionalism and out pouring of care was evident. Going back to school and attending college for the first time at 32 was scary and almost seemed unrealistic. The staff at AHI not only encouraged me to make the leap but stood by my side daily. I couldn’t thank Fabiola enough for all the effort she put into making sure I was studying, understanding and learning. She called me monthly to check on me and update me on my progress. She was my personal cheerleader throughout the program. If it wasn’t for her, there is a possibility I would have never graduated with my Associates Degree in Science- Medical Assisting. The support Fabiola gave to me was far beyond her daily job. I also would like to thank Guerda. She spoke with me monthly, answered all questions for me and took a personal interest in making sure I graduated and kept a smile on my face. Although I know it takes a whole staff to run a college, I do believe these two ladies are shinning stars!! I would highly recommend this college to my family and friends!! Thank you Allied Health Institute for giving me a chance at a new career and life!!!!! –Michelle

I am currently enrolled in the online MA associates program and even though everything is online, I feel so connected and informed. Lorraine is my academic advisor and I know that I can count on her to help me achieve the goals I have set for myself. She calls me at the start of each class and periodically checks in to see how I am doing. I'm so thankful for finding a program that enables me to be a mom and still fulfill dreams that had to be deferred. Thank you AHI!

My time, effort and complete experience with Allied health institute has been a great one! I remember just last year knowing that I wanted to branch into the medical field but not knowing what direction to go....and then I found them! My life has really done an entire 180. I was able to enter into the Online Medical Assisting A.S program which I recently completed successfully. Along the way I was helped by so many people. Lorraine my student advisor would continually check on me, writing and calling making sure everything was ok with my program and myself. My professors, the clinical site staff, the counselors AND BASICALLY everyone were always available and I was able to learn so much. I am now finally ready for my Bachelors degree. Allied Health has definitely been good to me and my family.

As a graduate of Allied Health Institute I must say my experience there far exceeded my expectations. I loved how the classes were set up online. The instructors and staff at the school were awesome. They helped me with any questions or concerns I had throughout the entire program. When I enrolled at Allied Health Institute I hadn't been to school in 15 years. My kids were 2 and 11 and I had a full time job. The online classes allowed me to do school work during the evenings and weekends. I couldn't have done it in a classroom. It wasn't always easy but I completed every class successfully and the gratification I felt when I graduated was worth the short period of time in my life it took to complete my Associate Degree. Nobody can take away your education:) I would recommend Allied Health Institute to anyone!!!
