Interesting campaign which got good traction. Worthwhile reading the comments where some doubt is cast on the actual value of the ROI and I kind of agree with that

I'm going to be doing a seminar on Google plus between 8.30 and 10.00. Anyone care to join on a hangout for a bit?

A #Murdoch supporting the #BBC? Surely some sort of Machiavelian plot?

Story

An online marketing strategist dabbling in SEO and Social Media
Introduction
I work in digital mainly because it's endlessly fun and it suits my short attention span. This is the main thing we do, Online Marketing and SEO in Manchester. Did you see what I did there?

Used to mess around amateurishly with music. These are some of my friends

Bragging rights
Overly busy with 4 delightful children and too many businesses for good sense. Still doing a lot in online marketing but also working hard on Louder Than War, LeanCall, SASCon and a series of seminars for Pro Manchester. And probably some stuff Ive forgotten about as well. Also trying to train up from a position of total lack of fitness to running a 10K. Which hurts.

I really wish these people would actually get the message and stop calling. Utterly incompetent in that they can not manage a do not call list. I've actually lost track of the amount of times I've told them not to call and yet they do, like a particularly nasty dose of syphilis, you cant get them to go away. And the lies. No I didnt ask you to call back. No we havent spoken before. A business that cares so little about its reputation is certainly not coming anywhere near mine.

I pursued Apadmi to be our client as I loved their work so much. I wanted them on our portfolio. It rapidly became clear that as well as being the very best at what they do, they are really nice people as well. Very straightforward. Very professional. And that's why we pass work to them. We don't build apps so it makes very good sense to pass any queries we get to them because I know that the client will be thoroughly looked after.

Really nice people who know their trade. Accurately and quickly diagnosed the problem with my laptop and helped me get it resolved. If you are in the area and have a problem, try these guys first

We've had a number of award certificates framed and also a piece of original art. The key thing they do is actually think about how they can work with the picture to make it stand out. Really clever talented people with a great service

I found these particularly disappointing. We were looking to buy a house through them. Asked to be kept informed about a property we wanted to buy. They didn't keep us informed. Took the trouble to go in and ask them why they didn't keep us informed. They simply didn't give a damn to the point of rudeness.

They have surprisingly well trained and interested staff. I know nothing about aquariums but I have a small one. The water wasnt clearing. I took a sample in which they tested for me and gave me some advice. They took time over making sure it was the right advice. Did as they said and the problem is clearing up nicely. I also bought a temperate clam. Mainly for the name.

We've used Pack Net for years to power our various ISP brands. Nothing goes wrong. ever. The service is robust and scalable and helps make a very good amount of money with not a lot of effort. Everyone who works there is damn good and nice people to boot. They really are leading experts in their field. Happy to recommend them and happy to chat with anybody who is thinking of using them.
