Some of the worst service we've ever seen at an Olive Garden. Messed up drink order; tiny salad (and refills) for four people; stingy with the grated cheese; served the wrong soup (and the waitress wanted to tell me it was right); chicken in the meal when we asked for it on the side. In short, if it could be screwed up, it was. Oh, and no, it wasn't busy. If it had been, we might have understood.

We visited the NMB location on Friday 6/7/13 at around 6pm. We were seated right away and then left.... We sat there for at least 15 minutes, numerous waiters/waitresses walked right by us. Even the lady who seated us walked by to seat another couple. One of these servers had to notice we hadn't been waited on. There were two different couples who arrived after us that were seated & served drinks, as we still sat there. We finally got up & just walked out. & Thats not the end of it. My husband called after we left & asked to speak to the manager. He explained to her what had happened & she hung up on him!! Never again will we go to an Olive Garden!!

Originally from North Palm Beach, Florida then to Fairfax, Virginia, and now happily living in North Myrtle Beach, SC, I have always enjoyed the Olive Garden Restaurant. However, this visit to 4701 Hwy 17 Olive Garden was my BEST experience ever. The food and service was excellent...the dessert, oh my! The people that work at Olive Garden were so pleasant and fun to be around, they simply made having dinner a wonderful & delightful total dinning experience. I started out with the Artichoke Spinach Dip. Then the Shrimp Alfredo, Salad & of course, Bread Sticks. To round it all out, I had a Warm Apple Crosstata, a wonderful dessert with hot sliced apples, caramel almonds & ice cream to die for. Yummy!!! I left the Olive Garden full, content, happy...did I say full! ? Best Wishes to the Olive Garden of N Myrtle Beach

Usually when a restaurant screws up or has some sort of shortcomings or fails to meet your expectation they make up for it in done way. This Olive Garden didn't even make an effort, when we sat down to order the waiter told us that they had ran out of that meal for the day, she gave us more time to find something else and that was also not available. When we tried to substitute a similar dish to still receive the special that they had going on they told us that we couldn't do that either. We even tried to build a similar dish with items that they clearly had available, again they told it's that we couldn't. By this time they had brought us a salad which didn't fill the bowl, was poorly made, and the breadsticks were COLD. After all of this w decided to leave and they still had the nerve to charge us for the salad and breadsticks!!! This is defiantly an issue I would take to the corporate level, the customer service was incredibly poor there was not even a glimpse of trying in the whole building.
