Yummy Tapas! Real cozy environment with great tasting food. I'm new to Boston so i've been trying to find friendly environment places to go to and thank god for this user application I downloaded on my iphone called BuyMaster! I found discounts and deals on Estragon and other restaurants.

Came for restaurant week. Our server said he had worked there for years and knew the menu in and out and could answer any and all questions which was great. I got the fried octopus, fried squid and garlic shrimp. Seafood kick much? The octopus was fried perfectly, but some pieces were too big so they were squishy. The squid rings were half cooked perfectly, and I only liked one of the sauces (the yellow one). The red one was strange...I wish I knew what they were. And the shrimp was PERFECT. I wish I could have eaten all of them, but it was so much food already...I did stuff more in my face than I should have though. I got the flan, which was good but not really rememberable after everything else. One plate we ordered came out pretty late, so we got an extra one for free. I couldn't eat it, but my friend said it was great. The sangria was good, good taste of wine with alcohol mixed in and bits of fruit. Sometimes you don't get all of that and it's just wine with fruit.

I used to go here a few years back and the food was excellent. The last time I went I thought the quality of the food had declined. Tapas were mediocre at best - everything tasted ordinary. Bar service was still good and our server was friendly.

stumbled into Estragon and loved it--the Tortilla was great---they had Ribera del Duero wine which is my favorite--a very nice experience after a long day at work--

I love this place. I know everyone goes to that other Tapas place in the South End, but Estragon is by far my favorite. I love the decor, it is so cute in there you just want to live there. The food is amazing. The veggie paella is incredible. The fried artichokes are one of my favorite things in the world, and the crispy chickpeas are better than candy. This is the best Tapas spot around!!

What a fun spot with great food. I can't vouch for authenticity but really enjoyed my mojito and tapas selection. My favorites of the night were the octopus and scallops, unbelievable. The service was so attentive and friendly, incredibly fast. I loved that you could order dishes as you go along, it made for a fantastic night. Just great food, friendly, low key, I loved it.
