TACTICAL FIELD TRIP, PALM BEACH SHERIFF´S OFFICE, FLORIDA

Last week was spent with inspirational Chief Deputy Michael E. Gauger of Palm Beach County with a staff of over 4000 ensuring safety for its 1,5 million residents. Sheriff Rick Bradshaw and Chief Deputy Michael E. Gauger have loyally dedicated their lives for over a decade to create one of Americas forefront and most impressive run police departments in the whole country. Michael, who started the Community Oriented Policing (COP) for USA, which is responsible for preventing crime and bridging the police and community has been behind introducing pioneering and groundbreaking methods to create a safer America, as well as in charge of with his impressive team, of turning around the troubled hot spots of Palm Beach County. Being introduced and getting to the know the key law enforcement leadership I could not have been more impressed as they stand as role models to the rest of the country. My trip also involved being a guest lecturer at the great Royal Palm Beach Rotary Club, where I got the opportunity to meet an amazing group of people within the community, who for decades have been making a strong impact and huge difference in the lives of 1000´s of residents. The Palm Beach trip was a life transforming trip, and of my very favorite places I have ever been. I can´t wait to return to the Sunshine State.

TEACHING AT THE NATIONAL SHERIFFS ASSOCIATION'S CONFERENCE

I was privileged to be selected as one of the key teachers at the prestigious National Sheriff’s Association’s 2017 annual conference in Reno, Nevada, which gathered the US law-enforcement leadership with its over 2500 Sheriff’s from all across the country for training. In my session on June 28th, which had law enforcement executives from across the US, also some I knew from before, the focus was on strategies on how to reduce crime in low-income ethnic communities, while enhancing police respect and safety. Amazing participants, who all had spent a lifetime in their career to make a difference. Got also a chance to experience the beautiful Northern Nevada city, Reno.

COLLEGE TEACHING IN CALIFORNIA OF NEIGHBORHOOD RESCUE 101

This newly designed university class; Neighborhood Rescue 101, which is part of my company’s Corporate Social Responsibility program for turning around low-income etnic communitues, was first kicked off at Fullerton College in California with over 60 impressive sociology students who had tons of excellent questions and reflections on the subject. In next weeks and months I will conduct guest lectures of the class at a number of leading Universities in California, followed with a national rollout. This multi-disciplinary college class, which is created on the principles of sociology, criminology and psychology examines the non-organic/organic stages of a turn-around, patterns in failed and successful community projects all across America and is used to recruit for Neighborhood of America's national college internship positions.

On Friday, June 2nd, I was honored to teach an amazing group from law enforcement both domestically and internationally at the 32nd Annual National Police Conference in Orlando, Florida which was hosted by Attorney General Pam Bondi and the Florida Police Departments. My seminar was “Preventing Crime in the Black community”. This was my second time teaching at this conference which drew 3200 people from law enforcement. My class topic was “How to turn around high crime low-income ethnic neighborhoods through partnerships while enhancing police safety and respect”. In the session, I was excited to announce that our organization is now active in 7 states and rapidly growing within the continental United States. It was great to see friends from last year’s conference and I look forward to return shortly to the beautiful state of Florida. #StrengthThroughUnity

TEACHING CRIME REDUCTION AT NATIONAL CONFERENCE IN MIAMI, FLORIDA

I was honored to be chosen to teach one of the 15 official training workshops in beautiful Miami at national crime prevention conference, which gathered 1500 people in law enforcement from Florida and across the US. My session consisted of presenting the 10 step - 21 day program I had created for turning around struggling ethnic low-income neighborghood with high crime. I met the most amazing people at the conference who protect and serve our community, including the inspirational Director J. Perez for Miami-Dade and his team, who is behind a very impressive community partnership program. The event by Attorney General Pam Bondi, which is geared towards reducing crime in the black community is a very unique initiative fostering collaboration and innovation as well as provides for the workshops up to 17 hours of mandatory retraining credits for law enforcement officers and corrections and juvenile justice employees. I look forward to my soon return to the sunshine state.
