A company spokesperson for Nickelodeon said that their iOS games would be included initially, but they added, “obviously” the goal in embracing HTML5 is “to enable across platforms.”

...the company spokesperson “obviously” wanted people to know that they knew HTML5 works on different platforms :)
Ludei, which offers an HTML5 platform for building games and other apps, is announcing today that it's powering the games in Nickelodeon's upcoming Android..

I live in Japan which was home to MtGox, the closed bitcoin exchange that lost around 850,000 bitcoins and then weeks later found 200,000 of them in the world's worst hide-and-go-seek game ever. So bitcoin was on my mind. I went looking for where HTML5 and bitcoin intersect and found a swell bitcoin wallet that is gaining in popularity because of Apple's dislike for bitcoin wallet apps.
A self-hosted bitcoin wallet with a user interface that is entirely written in HTML with JavaScript. The backend uses Node.js.

Playtox has more than 45 million registered players, and it is expanding into Western markets.
