This year, the Christmas Village looks to be the biggest and best yet. Fairground rides, and Ice rink and inflatable snow globe are just some of the attractions designed to entertain and delight those attending. The event is taking place on the newly redesigned Broad Street and will incorporate the quadrangle of Marischal College where events like the FINE food and drink market and the HAAN Christmas Design market will be held.
We have been assured that all attractions, food vendors etc will have ramped access and that lighting levels will be sufficiently bright for people with visual impairments.
We are looking forward to providing our scooters and wheelchairs to anyone with a mobility difficulty wanting to visit the Christmas Village and we will also have some volunteers available (booking in advance is essential) to accompany people who would like a bit of company and support for their visit.

Alan and Louise Cairns are cycling from Vietnam to Cambodia to raise funds for us.  This is an incredible feat on their part and we are very grateful to them supporting us.  All donations very gratefully received.

Walking Netball
Come and try this easier paced version of Netball delivered with the support of Netball Scotland.  A great social activity and a lot of fun.
Sheddocksley Sports Centre
Fridays from 10.30-12.
From the 4th July.

During the Golden Games we had four ladies in their late 70's, 80s and one who was 95 from Ruthrieston Care home who took part in the walking Netball and really loved the experience and can't wait to go back for more, the emphasis is on fun, participation and enjoyment.  If they can manage you can too! Come along and try out this easy version of Netball.
