This gym is great! I like the way the weights are separated from the cardio area (treadmills, elliptical, etc...) There are PLENTY of treadmills to choose from as well (I think like 15) and the music isn't as loud as the location at Mountains Edge. There are a lot of machines to choose from, and the dumbbells have enough weight that I don't think I will ever have a need for more!! The only cons I have is, it's very dirty! It could be the members, but there's always towels lying all over the place, a lot of time there are no wipes to clean the machines off when you're done, and the women's bathroom seems to always be out of TP! Ugh! Oher than that, I really like this gym. =o)

What a horrible place I live in!! The HOA here is the worst. I was charged $318 to get my vehicle out of impound because it was towed for no plates. The tow report LISTS the plate number on it! So why was my vehicle towed...????? The security is threatened to be fired if they don't give out violations, so you get violations for the slightest thing (like a vehicle "dripping" no, that was a beverage I poured out you nit wits!!) Absolutely the worst. I can't wait to leave this shady establishment! Apparently this isn't new for them, as there's a new story on Channel 13 about their towing activities. For shame.

Finally found a /real/ coffee shop! I was a barista a few times, and I've been looking for a real espresso coffee here in Vegas and I think I've found it! I had...One of the overly sweet and sugary drinks on ice, and despite all the flavours and sugar, it still tasted like coffee (BTW, this is how I like it) where as the Coffee Bean, Einsten's and Charbucks they make it sugary and delicious, but it doesn't taste like coffee. The price really pleased me too. It was expensive (something like $5 for my drink and $2 for an americano) but again comparatively to other establishments, it's within reason. The barista could have been friendlier... But then, I like my coffee slingers jacked up on caffeine and hyped up, so probably no fault of hers. I'm very excited to have found a new coffee joint!

First stop on our trip to Havasu. We got seated inside at first, but requested to be moved outside and I was happy it wasn't a problem. The beers are really good, $6.50 for a 23oz really isn't bad. Had the amber, heffey, IPA, and... got fuzzy after those. Holly was our server, and she was FANTASTIC. Very personable, attentive, knowledgeable. Very, very good service. We returned the same night, on Holly's suggestion, to try the new scotch ale. It's not fantastic. Scotch ales are syrupy, but this was to an extreme. Yeck. Not a fan of that one. Also, we ordered a couple burgers and it took OVER AN HOUR! We weren't pleased about that, but Stan Z entertained us and explained the situation. He was great too. It stood out to me that when I had my beer and my husband's (He didn't like it, so I took one for the team) the bartender asked if I wanted to keep it in the cooler. Sure. Flat cold beer is better than flat warm beer! Well, when I asked for it, Stan said he dumped it. I was bummed!! Until he explained he would give me a fresh one. Excellent!

Nothing like CAKE for breakfast!! We ordered the Kahluah Pig Benedict and the Chick Skillet with Red Velvet Pancakes. The service was good. The server was prompt and polite, always there to refill coffee. The food came out quick enough, the portions weren't enormous like many breakfast places do. The Benedict was good enough, the pig was tender, cabbage just slightly crunchy. The poached egg was poached hard (Not runny) which I like a little more runny, but that's ok, and I could always go for more hollandaise! haha! As I had seen mentioned in another post, the hashbrowns suck. They're a thin layer of potatoes crisped on the top side, mushy on the bottom. Meh. The skillet sucked terribly. The "chick" aka, chicken, was in the form of 3 small pieces. VERY disappointing! (Mentioned it to the server, and it was taken care of, but besides the point) They did not skimp at all on the benedict, but the skillet was a wash. The Red Velvet cakes were amazing. But then, who doesn't like eating birthday cake for breakfast? Because seriously, that's what it is. Sugary mess of yum. And honestly, not impressed. I can nuke some birthday cake in the microwave and call it a day. All in all, I don't plan on returning, thanks anyways!

Really nice water view, could see the London Bridge outside our window. The beer was so-so, like the Mudshark much better. Our server sucked. We ordered beers and some fries and she never returned. Had to ask the busser to get our check. It wasn't THAT busy, and she walked by us a dozen times. At least check on us with our empty glasses and fry basket. Booo

Simple place to stay, not over priced. The location is fantastic, very close to the water, but not outrageous price. The room is simple, nothing to write home about, but we didn't plan on being inside much. The beds were awful, but I'm sort of spoiled with my bed at home. I was extremely impressed and grateful when Dean called me at 5pm when I never showed up (I forgot what day I reserved) I explained my mistake and he was quick to change my reservation to the following night. That got my vote! The staff was very friendly as well. For the price, it's good. I have no complaints!
