More praise for "The Gospel of the Phoenix" on Amazon: "I purchased this book because I saw it advertised on a pagan Facebook group I am on, and I downloaded it to my Kindle with no real idea what I would encounter. Well. What a fantastic book. I reads like it's a book out of the bible, but it actually makes sense. As I read further and further along, I kept nodding. So many truths, and what I felt was real all along. This book will go proudly onto my pagan library shelf, alongside my Kahlil Gilbran books. My copy is already getting dog-eared, I've flipped back and forth through it so many times. Can't wait to see what else this author publishes."

I'm pleased to announce the release of my latest book, "Requiem for a Phantom God" on CreateSpace. This work, in the tradition of Christopher Hitchens, examines the contradictions of modern monotheism, tracing the abuses of mainstream religion to their doctrinal and historical roots.

The Gospel of the Phoenix tells the story of Jesus’ life, in biblical style, as never before. It is the story of a Jewish teacher trained in Egyptian healing and mysticism who set about spreading a gospel of humility, servanthood and renewal. His mission? To reveal the hidden kingdom of heaven that is both within and all around us. His method? Retracing the footsteps of his heavenly father, the Egyptian god Osiris, and honoring his divine mother while immersing his followers in the way of forgiveness, humility and wisdom.

My first published book (under a pseudonym). Spread the word! :-)

Newt Gingrich has proclaimed the Palestinians an “invented” people with no legitimate claim to the land of Palestine. Gingrich has a Ph.D. from Tulane University and actually taught history at the college level. In this light, his ignorance as a historian is almost as troubling as his lack of diplomacy as a politician.

Wish a Pagan or a Jew "merry Christmas"? It's like an American wishing everyone in Beijing a happy Fourth of July. It's like telling someone who doesn't like football to "enjoy the Super Bowl!" Or buying a litter box for someone who doesn't own a cat.

Excerp: "When I signed up, with great enthusiasm, for a three-week tour of the “Holy Land,” I was in for something of a shock. I was not very well traveled, but I had visited Ireland the autumn beforehand and had enjoyed it, so I was really looking forward to this trip. And since I’m generally a pretty happy-go-lucky person, I expected to have a grand old time. I did not expect to be faced with a war."

Don't try to save me from your hell. I've gone through enough hell of my own without worrying about the one your god supposedly created.
