Thanks to John D, I can now share on FB and Google+ simultaneously (and Twitter, but who really cares?)
It's all about SEO now as Google doesn't get the data from Facebook and Twitter activity that it needs. Instead it assumes that relevant companies, warned that Google will be looking at Google+, will be active here, where Google can index data, and not where Google doesn't get data. Secondarily, posting on Google+ is all about being able to interact directly with important people in your industry where Facebook is seen more as a place to interact only with friends and family.
