I am writing a lot about re-invention and leveling up.  Todays post is about being brave.  The only regrets I have in life are the times I did not act on something I wanted because I let fear keep me from trying.  The times I have tried and failed are no big deal... but not being brave leaves me sad.

Speaking today for 50 meeting professionals at the Umlauf Sculpture Garden in Austin. Not often I speak in an outside venue (beautiful setting with flowers, birds, waterfall, etc... Yes, it is 90+ degrees and humid- but this is cool for June in Texas!

Public Speaking Skills Education:

I am now offering Presentation Skills Training for Austin Technology Companies.

This product offering came about organically, as I have delivered presentations over the years for several local technology organizations, and at many company Users Conferences,.... and the question of training has come up.

I have spent the last few years working with engineers and executives from time to time, and continue to receive positive feed back.

My passion for presentations is nothing new, as I believe that audiences desire and deserve both content and style from anyone who is speaking.

I have seen technologists get passed over for promotions and founders be pushed aside for more eloquent leaders.  This does not need to happen.

The onset of social media has taken the focus away from the importance of live communications, but the more we move online, the more critical off-line becomes.
