Excellent flavors, local ingredients, biodynamic wine. First dish was cucumber with seaweed powder with a very light wine, had it ended there it would have been a 2 star rating. But it didn't, it ended with brilliant biodynamic meat, roasted pumpkin and excellent kale with apple cream. I highly recommend Manfred & Vin!

Manfred's torture for the taste buds - there's a huge build up, the place looks great, it's in a gritty neighbourhood and its Danish ingredients. But that's as far as the good goes, the entire menu was ill conceived with no marriage of flavour from dish to dish never mind within each dish. A self indulgent chef riding on the back of previous hype, 2.5 hours later I've already forgotten what I ate. I ate it because I was hungry.

Great place to go if you want Danish food with a twist. They use Danish ingredients and create new and exciting dishes. We had a menu called "The Chef decides" or something similar. That simply means that you get seven surprise courses — all were delicious. Just leave back and enjoy!

Thoroughly mediocre. We were excited and hungry when we arrived, but the experience really disappointed. Amongst the negative things we had the waiter forgetting us on for wine and serving several glasses of wine at the same time, one wine then being full of sediment, another one almost flavorless, and all the courses (7 in total) being utterly bland. It's rare that you leave food on the plate when you're still hungry. On the plus side one dill dressing had a nice taste and the bread crust was good.

I've only got good things to say about Manfreds. I was dining alone and sat at the bar. I was well looked after with super friendly genuinely caring service. I had the tasting menu with the steak Tartar as an extra. It is no exaggeration when I say this is the best steak Tartar I've ever had. So fresh and tasty. Everything else I was served was excellent and the sommelier chose the wine pairings for me and I could see this varied from diner to diner depending on her judgement and conversation. This is a very relaxed place to eat. Nothing pretentious or stuffy but rather the focus is on preparing excellent food from the best local ingredients with the minimum fuss and first class service. A real treat.

The food here was phenomenal, but the service was highly disappointing. Although they were able to accommodate the one dietary restriction at our table, they were unwilling to allow the rest of the table to order the chef's selection because it had to be ordered by the whole table. We asked if they could make an exception because one of us had a special diet and they wouldn't even check with the chef or try to do so, meaning one person's meal had to dictate everyone else's. Additionally, not once while we were eating did anyone ask how our food was. Not until we were finished did our server return to ask if we wanted dessert (which was fantastic as well). Our server was very cold and unfriendly, the host, however, was pleasant. So, for food I'd give 4 if not 5 stars, but service brought it way down. Also, do be sure to make reservations.

Mediocre to bad food, and the service was only slightly better.. I will not be going back - and I am a local, and I reckon that I have a pretty good idea about what to expect from a place such as Manfreds

First of all, the food and wines were a truly great experience: amazing tastes, smells, and textures. The music and the atmosphere in general was awesome, way beyond my expectations, too (perhaps because they played a lot of my favorites :)! I can highly recommend their legendary tartar of beef, it's simply amazing. Now to the iffy part. We had a booking from 9PM which felt a bit late given that the official closing time is 10PM (but the web booking allowed even 9:30). Ultimately, we were around well after closing which itself was no issue - in fact I quite liked the place getting gradually empty and changing from a buzzing food-heaven to a more chilled hangout. Overall, the service was decent, but it felt somewhat rushed as if the staff was (unknowingly) showing that they had a long they and were focused too much on getting over with it. The great food complemented by the atmosphere (as well as the staff's recognition of their small mistake of forgetting about our last dish) did compensate for it, though. At the same time, because I liked the place so much at first, I hoped for a spotless experience and this has sadly not been one - although pretty close.
