About 15 minutes ago I stopped in Rhea's for a sandwich and had a horrific experience. I walked up to the counter to fill out the sandwich order form and there was a homeless person wandering in and out of the store yelling some gibberish while being ignored by the staff. As I'm filling out the form, the homeless man decides to throw some sort of dirty wrapper/paper on me. I yell at him and he decides to square up and start yelling back. The staff is practically ignoring him when he spits all over my face. One of the employees finally escorted him out while laughing and implied it was my fault. I look around to the rest of the staff and especially the lady who I've seen there every single time I've ordered a sandwich and waited for some sort of acknowledgement, but they continued on as if nothing happened. I stormed out looking to call the police on the man, but he was gone and the employees could care less. I wasn't looking for a free sandwich, but just some acknowledgement and empathy over what happened. I'm done with this place. This is the one time I would prefer someone replacing a business on valencia st with more condos.

Heard about this place from some friends that live around there. It definitely lives up to the hype! Had the Korean Sandwhich, which had sliced Kalbi meat and some spicy sauces. So good! The sandwiches are made to order and can take about 30 minutes as they have high volume of orders. It's worth the wait, and you can also call in orders. Tons of different sandwich options or build your own.

The sandwiches are really good, but the service is too bad, the cashiers are so arrogant, you have to wait 25 minutes for a single Kajun sandwich.

Great steak sandwich. Wish they served them later night.

As everyone says, get the Korean steak sandwich, which is all I've ever gotten here. There's definitely a kick, probably equivalent to a medium spiciness in most Thai food that you can find in SF. The sandwich is loaded with steak, but it's so delicious I can never stop myself from eating the whole thing all in one go. The slaw that comes on it complements it really well.

Like everyone else, we had the Korean Beef Sandwich. Its huge, full of meat, lettuce, jalapeño's, and that good old tasty american cheese, and is absolutely delicious. Great filler upper when you've just stepped off a plane. Friendly staff, well priced and great stop for a quick lunch.
