We were just walking around Union street looking for a place to eat after placing a cupcake order to pick up the following week at That Takes the Cake. The other places had lines and lines of people and Nettie's was busy, but no crazy lines. We grabbed a table for two and ordered - shoe string potatoes, crab roll and fried chicken. First of all, we didn't know the crab roll already came with shoe string potatoes or we would have omitted the side order. The best things were the potatoes, but there's only so much we can eat. The crab roll was ok, crab was nice and buttery, but for $26 bucks, there wasn't enough crab to justify the cost. It came with a side of pickled veggies that were impossible to eat. The cauliflower and pickles were so sour, one bit was more than enough. The fried chicken looked good, but I didn't try any of that. We ordered a small craft of pressed coffee. I am assuming that the grounds were too fine, hence the muddy bottom. If we ever come back, I'll try the brunch menu which is available until 3. The price seems a little more reasonable.

FRIDAY NITE - not very crowded; lobster roll - save it for New England - don't think you can get the real thing here. Pasta & clams good - service - they realy tried; but unfortunately - just doesn't quite make the cut

Very good food over here. The beer battered fish is excellent and they use fresh oil. Reasonable price and a great atmosphere.

Very cute place on Union. My boyfriend and I came in for a quick drink at the bar to catch the Giants game. Bartender was very nice and friendly. Ambience is great, makes you feel like you are in Maine. Menu looked great (although lobster roll appeared way overpriced, so I'm interested in seeing what makes it so special). Will come back since it's in the neighborhood!

The food was good . they didn't serve you any bred so that sort of sucked.I took a whole crab and shared it with my wife. The decor was very good because it went with the theme and it was cottage style. The service was very good because they were fast with your order and you didn't have to wait long.

Really freaking expensive but the food is amazing and the layout of the resturant is beautiful. My friend and I sat on the sidewalk at a table for two but the inside the resturant was bright and overlooking a green, vine covered building. I had the dungeness crab on a bun, and it was fantastic. Will definitely go again... maybe when celebrating something/
